I initiated an online purchase of a cordless Mantis Tiller (3558). When I went to make the purchase, my credit card purchase didn't go through and so I believed that the purchase did not complete.

Therefore I made my purchase elsewhere. The next day I get an email saying my purchase is on the way. I called and after getting quite annoyed, was told they would try to intercept the purchase and get it back to the warehouse. Never happened.

I got an email saying I could ship it back, once it arrived; originally given a deadline of March 29th (which was impossible because it arrived late on March 26th). I got the return date extended and was told I needed to pay for the shipping back and that I should purchase insurance. I went to UPS and was quoted a shipping rate of $89.03.

I contacted the company and went back and forth about the definition of "prepaid" and "shipper". In the end the agent told me that I could always resell on Ebay or Craigslist.
