Endless problems with 3 yr. old mower
I think I pd. around $300 for this self-propelled, battery, mulching
mower from Poulan in 2017.
It has been nothing but an endless
money pit on repairs/replacements. First, the PLASTIC carb. was replaced after 2 years because being close to the heat source, it started to melt!! I have also had two $50 tune-ups by
a mower repairman this summer alone, plus several $25 fix-its
by my handyman, &;;;;;; same handyman has cut my yard at least 6 or more times ($25 each) this summer when my mower was not working & my grass needed mowing.
I think this summer alone I have paid more than the original price for the 3 yr.
mower in repairs, &;amp; this does not include the prior 3 summers! If you see any piece of equipment marked POULAN, run fast in the opposite direction--do not buy it!!

Husqvarna should be embarrassed
Purchase a PR4218 0n 06/16/2020 and it lasted about 5 minutes and now will not start. Not able to return it from the place of purchase because I put gas in it.
I have been calling Poulan every day since the 16th and have over 2 hours on hold waiting to speak to customer service and have yet to speak to anyone. To sum it up I have a saw that does not run, a tree half done and out 200.00.

My chainsaw has only 5 hours on it and had to be taken to repair shop.
I dropped my saw at ProTool in Goshen,NY on February 17. They in turn sent said saw to a repair shop they use( meanwhile ProTool are the repair shop Poulan Pro sent me to).
Today is June 3 and my saw still is not fixed. Poulan Pro has refused to even consider giving me a refund or a store credit so I may purchase another saw. Ive owned this particular saw since June 2018... warranty expires this month.
Im extremely frustrated since I spent 191.36 on this saw.
I will NEVER own ANYTHING Poulan makes again in my lifetime. They do not stand behind their products and when you are able to speak with customer service they are not very helpful.

Had chain saw for 1 yr and used it one time last year
got it for a gift last year for fathers day and i only used it one time and went to use it this year and it doesnt work anymore new spark plug and gas and oil and it wont start

Unable to find replacement bar for poulan 221pro 40cc saw
My saw runs alright but the chain won't stay on the bar. I think the bar is bent so i'm trying to find a new one.
Now there are a lot of standard replacements but my bar has the chain adjustment in the bar and I can't find another like it. Where can I get one???
There's a number 53004**** on the bar. Please help.

Like poulan, i have 4 of them
need advice; have a 16 in poulan saw that will not even hit like it wants to start. Here is what it has...……
has fire, has air, timing ok, fuel sprayed under spark plug, compression ok, rope ok, muffler clear switch ok; any idea?

Poulan Leaf blower -30 Hr lifespan
Had 2 Poulan gas leaf blowers and each died after 30hrs. in five years use.
MY other gas powered yard devices are maintained in same manner and last me 10-12 years and start on first pull in spring. I thought first failure was a fluke or a 'returned' item. Not so. Both were hard starting always from day one!!!
Hot restart was always totally impossible. My only recourse for this Travesty is advise others to buy Quality equipment like Stihl or Husqvarna designed for 1000+ hrs life. POULAN is outright garbage!
Have not met anyone with good things to say about anything POULAN . Their design and business philosophy must have been copied from the YUGO.

Poulan Pro Pp4218Avx Chainsaw Review from Choccolocco, Alabama
I bought a PP4218AVX.IN October, 2013. Didn't use for 2 years because I had a good Stihl.
I got it out in November for first time to cut some firewood.It ran good for 1 week, then it started cutting off when it got hot and would not crank. I took it to authorized dealer for repair. He says the ignition coil was bad. Also, plastic chain adjustment wheel broke.
I have read many reviews on this saw. It seems that only 1 out of 10 had not had any trouble with this saw. It will cost $150 to repair (including diagnostic shop time. I paid only $175 for this saw.
I don't think I should pay to repair it since it has so many other problems. I can get a new one for $150, but I'll never buy a Poulan product again unless something changes in the quality. This saw is a piece of ***. I would be ashamed to put my label on it.
The only fair thing to do is recall this saw voluntarily. Don't wait until some one gets hurt.

I know how you feel it isn’t right for this company to treat the consumer this way I need paddles for my snowblower that isn’t 3 years old yet smh I going to take them to small claims court on this issue and they can give me my $350 back and pick the trash up from my house
