My monthly bill has more than quadrupled in one cycle
My normal bill for 2 months of water and trash is $175. My new bill is $507.
I live on social security and where am I supposed to get that. I would also have to leave the water running 24 hours a day to get that kind of a bill.
It's not like I'm watering my lawn because it rains everyday so why is my bill so high and why do I have to wait on hold for 45 minutes and never get to talk to anyone. I need help and I need answers
Unfair enormous high bill
Unfair treatment has been unlawfully, intentionally, and highly enormously large water bill as been charging me since year 2005. The water department has been unlawfully billing my resident since it was disconnect until now.

Unlawfully, Intentionality, Fradulently charging high MONTHLY water bill.
The Portsmouth Department of Utilities have been fighting, arguing back to their, and at their customers for many years. Since year 2005.
The water bill is normally billed bi- monthly, since my water bill was disconnected either in February or March 2019. I have been receiving an unusual high water bill every monthly, whether I am living in my home or not living in my home supported by the Portsmouth Fire Department Civic league meetings, The Portsmouth City Treasurer Cherry Paige, WAVY 10 News. They will ignore your complaint and disregard you by sending an abnormally high bill monthly. For example: My water has been disconnected for several months now, but they are still charging me monthly.
It has increased from $511.00 to $613.26, and my current disconnected charges, restored disconnect charges are $23. 28 and due by 7-10-18. They are having controll issues and unfortunately, fradulent, abusive to people who are closest to me, and dearest to me, and Senior Citizens too. They will fight you before making situations right with you.
A survey for the City of Portsmouth poor services are below zero, unsatisfactory. Every employees, and employers need to be removed and replaced by concern, and good staffs. Fighting back should be zero tolerance. What I want to see happen, an outstanding employers' and employees' survey, a bi-monthly water bill, zero control, zero unlawfully, intentionally high billing charges, zero tolerance for abuse.
Zero tolerance for fighting and controlling me and the customers. I want zero amount on my next water bill for their prolonged troubles and the problems they have been causing me for many many years. Remove all of them and replace them with good caring people before my water bill increases to $700.00.
