purchased this system from" Pool Supply World ". The new system arrived but was damaged in shipping, called Pool Supply World and told them What had happened. They gave me a return shipping code and were supposed to start shipment of replacement filter system. A week later , had not received a confirmation of shipment of new replacement system/ tracking number. Called and only got a automated message that said to pick from menu for what ever you needed. I tried every option on the automated recording and no matter which option I chose , It always took me back to the start of the recording. This went on for two weeks. I finely got in touch with a "human being". When I explained what was going on , All I got was how sorry they were and that this is NOT the proper way to have handled this return. I was told that a new unit would be leaving there warehouse that day, and I would receive a tracking number by E-Mail that afternoon. I never received anything from them . I tried calling AGAIN, only to go through the same recording. After 3 long weeks of this runaround I finely talked to a return specialist"ha ha" Again I was told this is not the way it should have been handled. I finely got tired of the lies I was getting and told them to cancel my order completely. The damaged unit was in route to them" after taking pictures of damage and E-MAILING it to the returns dept. They claimed they never received any E-MAIL and could not do anything till the damaged unit arrived at their warehouse and reviewed and the cause of damage was not from something I did when trying to install it. After another 2 weeks ...still no ward from them , and went through the automated menu AGAIN to get no where . Finely after almost 7 weeks from original order date, I finely received an E_MAIL stating they had received the damaged unit and a refund to my credit card was being processed . Now I was told that it could take 7 to 10 days for the credit card to be credited . In short...I would not buy from these people.. customer service lacks the SERVICE to its customers and after they have your money ,Everything seems to get lost in the shuffle . I finely received the credit to my card and searched online and found the exact same unit for $50.00 less and was assured that this company does NOT practice this same customer service tactics . The new unit arrived in $ days "undamaged" and is connected and working fine. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from Pool Supply World. Its just not worth the trouble.
