Inferior Service!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I took my truck in for an alignment. First the customer service was shabby at best.

I wasn't greeted or told someone would be with me shortly. The guy at the desk just chatted away on the phone.

They took my truck in for the alignment. (I'm a mechanic) I went into the shop to check and the tech hadn't centered the steering wheel before the alignment. After he "finished" (which they didn't test drive) the alignment I paid and tried to drive it.

It was way out of alignment. It pulled severely to the right as where if I steered straight the truck would have driven into the ditch. I went back and asked the tech if he centered the steering wheel and he said he did (after I already saw that he didn't). He then took it in and realigned it (just adjusting the toe) and then test drove it.

After coming in he told me it was because there was a power steering leak (which has no bearing on the alignment). Previously, as I was paying they told me the front end was good and didn't need any parts replaced. However, after the test drive he told me the tie rod ends were loose. I reminded him they had already told me the front end was good.

Then he tried to claim since it was an older truck it had a dead spot in the steering. If you pull the truck in straight, center the steering wheel and the tires are straight it would have been fine.

So, because of the *** poor customer service, the shoddy workmanship and the blatant lies I will certainly not be taking my vehicle there in the future!

No Service Will Never Use Them For Service Again

Pomp Tire-Lebanon, Indiana

Brought truck in and spoke to manager on Tuesday they still have my truck Friday night. I needed it finished Thursday.

Went in and desk help had no clue about it as the manager had talked and filled out paperwork and charges. She wasn't there and no communication between coworkers to finish or help me in any way.

Had account with them for seven years and will never come back. The gentleman at the desk was rude and wasn't even willing to help me.

Now I had to go to other shop and wait as this was supposed to be done this week before the winter storm hit.

This is a great review for Christy at the Lebanon, IN store. My wife and I were on a long road trip when the engine light came on

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Christy saw we were in a pickle and got us in right away after doing a diagnostic test and more. They gave us great advice and choices and had us back on the road very quickly.

And no charge!

their honesty was refreshing and welcomed. I would not hesitate to take my vehicle there again.

Sincerely

THought were better years ago

poPomps tire shops were recommended from me to lots, what I dont understand with owners and drivers alike being so short on time and money why when u call to make a appointment to buy and have semi tires worked on days in advance so u can keep the truck moving as much as possible does POMPS NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS. NEVER GOING OR SPENDING THOUSANDS ON TIRES AND SERVICE THERE AGAIN.

Don’t go there

On Friday, 11/29/19, I had a flat tire on the highway near the airport. I called my road service.

They came and informed me that they can't fix it because my spare wasn't good. So, I called for towing to the nearest tire shop. The service man gave me a card for Pomp's Tires. I went there.

After waiting hours, they fixed the flat tire and charged me 26$. When I got home on Saturday, the next morning, I saw that I had a flat tire again. It was the same tire they had "fixed". When I took a closer look, I didn't see any new nails or screws that may have punctured the tire and caused the flat again.

I saw *** where the plug they inserted used to be. I called Pomp's Tires and asked for a manager or someone in charge. His solution was for me to bring the tire back to him so he can "see" what happened. I live 35 miles away.

That's 70 miles back and forth.I asked if there was anything else he could do, like refund my card. He said no. I decided to just fix it myself this time and replace the tire at home. In the end, I don't recommend this place at all.

The tire they fixed only lasted me 35 miles back home from their store and wasted my money. They also charged me 5$ for “shop supplies” and I was never told what this charge was for.

Is it for the coffee I took while waiting, that’s SUPPOSED to be free for customers? Ill leave the judgement up to you.

Marinette messed up my insurance claim. According to my insurance they didn't get approval before doing the work.

Then they said they would hold my car until they got the insurance check so i paid up front only to get my claim denied when i submitted it.

They wouldn't help me at that point so now I'm out of pocket. Won't be using them again!

Very rude customer service. Never did I see my truck go into the garage.

Then tell me it needs ball joint , bushings, and 4 New tires and charge me 86.00 for an alignment when they are 79.00.

Will never ever go there again. I think they thought I was *** being a women.

H1 hummer review

On behalf of the Pomp's tire team at the Rogers location, we were more than willing to take a look at the tires customer bought else where. In phone conversation customer hung the phone up, and with no respond to messages we are unable to diagnose any problems???

so please feel free to stop by so we can take look at tires and or maybe wheels. We would want to have any of our customer unhappy about any work performed at this location. So already stated please bring your Hummer back in so we can diagnose the problem.

sincerely Pomp's Tire team Rogers. Thank you

Pomps Tire in Rogers, MN claims to have a perfect record installing truck tires

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Had Brand new H1 Hummer tires installed on my vehicle using counter act for balancing. I have really bad shaking on front tires up to 5 miles.

I was told by the manager that Pomp's does only perfect work and it is my vehicle that is the problem.

There was no shaking before I brought it in and I suggested that maybe the tires were not properly cleaned out before installed. Again the manager, Travis Roush said they are perfectionist in what they do and they are not at fault.

I wish we all were as perfect as the Roger's Pomp's!!

No Customer Service

On March 19th, early afternoon, went to the Virginia MN store, woman was at front desk on telephone. She didn't acknowledge me. No one else in room. We had no eye contact nor did it appear the call was ending or any attempt made. I wanted to buy a tube for my tractor. After waiting several minutes I left. I went to another local store and ordered the tube.

I realize I am a small potato. In the past, I have brought my tractor tires in for repair, purchased front tractor tires, cattle trailer tires and tires for my 1-ton pickup. Yes, I am a nothing customer when compared to the mining companies or fleet owners.

Maybe it wasn't the woman's job to be at the front desk and maybe she was pissed having to be there but all it would have taken for me was a simple "hi" and "I'll be with you in a minute." I worked as a supervisor in a government agency for 28 years and understand the need for customer service.

Suffice to say, I will never take up space in your store again but will use my oral skills to discourage others from doing business with Pomp's. Thanks for reading, Alan Johnson

Pomp's turned me away with no brakes

I was on my way to pick up some people when my brake line burst. I went to Pomp's Tire Service because they were close.

There were no customers there and the two employees did not look at all busy. Also, no customers arrived while I was there. First, they tried to tell me it could take "several hours" and when I said it only took an hour the last time I had to have a portion of brake line replaced they agreed to look at it. The mechanic drove it onto the hoist so he knew the brakes were practically nonexistent, but he didn't look in the section where I told him the brake line had burst nor did he look under the vehicle.

He put it on the hoist simply for show as it was obvious he had no intention of doing anything. The other guy came out, informed me they had too much to do, told me to go away and bring the vehicle back on Monday. Although the one who put it on the hoist had told me he wouldn't drive it, he didn't speak up when the other guy kept telling me to go away. They didn't ask if there was anyone I could call, didn't offer to let me leave the vehicle there, just kept telling me to go away and bring it back on Monday.

I didn't feel I could leave it there - they probably would have had it towed - and I felt like I was being forced off the property. I complained to the corporate office and can't even get an apology. They had the local manager contact me and he told me there were eight jobs done that day. I find that hard to believe because I know they close at noon.

I got there about 9:30, no one was sweaty or dirty, no one looked like they'd been busy. I left about 9:50, so that left 2 hours before closing. There is no possible way eight jobs (or even six) could have been completed in 2 hours. When the previous owner was there, I took a tire in to be repaired and that alone took a half hour so there is no way that these people could have done eight repairs by noon.

Also, one individual from their corporate office emailed me, "Next time you don't have brakes, don't drive the vehicle." I had brakes when I left home. I didn't have brakes when Pomp's told me to go home. Driving the vehicle without brakes was not my choice, but he made it out like the whole thing was my fault. I wonder if it was illegal to send me on the road knowing I had no brakes.

Don't go to Pomp's. Their corporate office won't even give you an apology, let alone help you.

Pomps tire is a joke we had our company truck in there and got 4 tires put on it our driver got 30 miles south of town 2 of them came off

Guest

It was YOUR choice to drive it away without brakes. You should have asked them for the number of a towing company and had it towed home or to another shop.

You put your life and the lives of other in jeopardy by driving the vehicle in that condition. Also, I can't imagine that they would turn away business unless they had no other choice.

You said you got there at 9:30 and they closed at 12:00. How were they supposed to write it up, diagnose it, order the parts and have the work completed in such a short time span?

Guest

TG TIRE SVC out in the village of DANE does real good tire and auto work its a small business that cares about the people they deal with try them its a 15 min drive north its worth the drive

Guest

You sound like a nut bag that wanted a rush brake job. I cant imagine them telling you to go away unless you were acting crazy.

They didnt burn your pizza, they are working on your vehicle to keep not just you safe, but the people around you. You should have stopped the car as soon as you lost your brakes and had it towed.

Call first and tow it somewhere that can work on it then and there if your in a rush. :?
