I really don't know where to start... Terrible service, DO NOT USE THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY!
Ordered my item on 28th November, it was "out for delivery" within two days and the delivery driver, couldn't be bothered to deliver (I live less than 30 miles form the depot), but claimed to have "tried to deliver" on no less than 6 occasions. In the end the driver took it upon themselves to mark the item damaged so that they didn't have to deliver it. Spoke with the company almost every day for nearly three weeks and could not get past the smoke and mirrors and downright lies. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY, they WILL lie, they will stonewall and they WILL let you down.
After taking two separate days off work to ensure that I was at home to take delivery, I gave up. The company has had my money for all this time (they took the money upon me ordering my item) and now, when I cancelled the order they have informed me that it will take "up to 5 days" to get my money back!

Sack the courier
We have recently made 2 orders of a total of 6 blinds. After the first we complained bitterly about the fact they were left in a garden of a house 2 streets away in the rain.
(They phoned me) We then ordered again and gave them more specific instructions for the next delivery which were generally noted on the packaging ie. Must be signed for - and also a contact number.
More specific address Second delivery worst than the first - different garden and having not arrived found them quite by chance having assumed that they had done the same thing again- which they had. They say it isn't their fault as they don't source the courier but what a joke!!

Bay Window Curtain Pole Review
Ordered a bay window pole and had no communication from them as stated as to when items were expected to be delivered. When it arrived the order was incomplete so it couldn't be used.
I spent a total of 20 minutes listening to "please hold, your call is important to us" without being answered!... Useless company, do not use!!

Incomplete delivery
We ordered four poles to Switzerland. After four weeks the parcel arrived with all rings and fixings but no poles themselves.
Contacted them many times on the phone and sent email. No actions from their site at all! Only promises on the phone to check. Money were paid by credit card at the time of order.
Credit card company cannot help.
Do not know how to get either poles or money back! Disaster!!!
Curtain Poles Review
orderered curtain poles from this company when they aventtuly arrived after being lost half the crystal end caps were broken so had to buy elsewhere sent then back to POLES DIRECT in November this is now February and I am chasing them to refund me after about 20 phone calls and 10 emails AND ALL THER LIES
STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THEY SRE A DISGRACE
Dishonest practice -avoid unless you want a hassle
Ordered an allure pole a month before it was needed. .They took the money immediately and then I then got an email saying it was 'out of stock' even though it had said 'available for immediate delivery' on the website.
I then received an email to say it would come at the end of January -it did not. Chased and told it would be posted Tuesday and be received Thursday or Friday 5th or 6th of Feb. Phoned as this did not happen either - they denied all knowledge of the previous phone call and was then now told it will be posted on 9th February.
Very inconvenient and they don't seem to care once they have your money. AVOID!!!
It is hard to get them to answer the phone and you get the run around when you do.

I ordered 3 poles in October and got confirmation they would be delivered in three working days. I was charged immediately.
Two weeks later, with no delivery, I contacted the customers service who said the order could not be completed as the line was discontinued but would send me "different and larger poles free of charge" of their own choice (!!) without any specification of what type or size. I declined as I would like to get what I paid for. I asked to be reimbursed. However, despite repeated chasing of this, no reimbursement.
Customers service absolutely appalling. Warn everyone against using this company!

Order 2 poles, only 1 set arrived
I ordered 2 set of curtain poles - both the same style and colour and same price. 2 weeks later 1 set arrived with the box containing the curtain rings broken, so we did not know how many should be in the box.
We waited for 2 weeks for the 2nd set to arrive. 2 weeks later (i.e. 4 weeks after we placed the order by then), we have still not received the 2nd set of poles. I phoned them and was told that he needed to contact the supplier and I asked him to contact me either by phone or e-mail to inform me the outcome.
2 weeks later, I had no 2nd set of poles nor phone call nor e-mail from them to tell me what was going on. Today (12/09/2014), I phoned them again and he told me that they will order the 2nd set of poles from the supplier, as soon as they receive the poles, they will send me the 2nd poles. It will take at least 10 days. I also informed him that I needed more rings since the box was broken.
He also promised sending me 8 more rings! I am waiting to find out if I get my 2nd set of poles in 10 days' time.
I certainly WILL NOT order from polesdirect.com again!! They are no cheaper than others.
They are certainly NOT reliable. They gave me too much hassles which I do not need!

Did not send correct pole, no explanation, did not return my calls
I ordered a pole in August and was sent one half the size. When I called to find out what happened I was told they would ring me back, 1 week later and 2 more calls from me as they NEVER phoned me back to explain, I was told that the poles were not in stock but they'd have them in the middle of September.
It is now 9 October, I have phoned 3 more times and told I would get a call back but they have never phoned me back.
I said I wanted to cancel my order and get my money back to be told the same rubbish. Avoid the hassle and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Polesdirect.com are very disappointing to deal with. My order for 2 curtain poles, hold backs and finials took a long time to arrive.
When the order arrived the finials for the hold backs were missing with no indication as to when missing items would arrive. Trying to get after sales service is a nightmare, phones are mostly not answered, telephone answer machine messages that I have left have never responded to, emails I have sent using their contact form have never been responded to.
When I eventually managed to speak to someone over a week ago about the problem and his promise to look into the problem, I still have heard nothing. Definitely recommend that you do not deal with this business.

I ordered a number of curtain poles from this online company - Polesdirect.com and found that two of the poles were rusty. On ringing the company, i was told to take pictures and send it to them by email.
After the first attempt - no response. Second attempt got a personal email address - still no response. After - several phone calls leaving messages on the answer phone, i am still waiting. I cannot send the items back without notifying them, and they are not responding.
What appalling service - it is this type of product suppliers who are ruining the reputation of good companies to make use of the web to reach more consumers! i am really annoyed with all the effort i am having to make to get these from such a supplier!
Anyone thinking of buying from them please think again.
