unbelievable, how most of these "internet companies" are! after the usual stalker who's been chasing me for 6 years now reported my podcast by mis-translating it into english and hence causing a request to remove many of my talks, I removed them as requested BUT 5 days later my account has been closed for "not removing the material as they asked"!!!
I wonder if they're just sillier monkeys, all waiting to be replaced by AI and end up in the street...

I've already left a review. I renewed the subscription yesterday and got an email that didn't acknowledge my refund.
I shouldn't need to pay an annual subscription twice in one week just to keep my profile active. They should refund the original refund ticket request that I put out before I renewed my account. They just said, 'Looks like your account is active.' It was deactivated until I renewed the subscription.
So I've paid $216.00 just because I shouldn't have cancelled in the first place. I want $108.00 back since I've paid for it twice already.

I reactivated a cancelled account having to pay $108.00 annual subscription just to get back access that I once had for free before I ever signed up for any subscription. They emailed me saying its active even though that was only because I shouldnt have cancelled it in the first place.
I shouldnt pay $216.00 without being refunded the $108.00. Customer service is not accessible via phone calls and didnt acknowledge the refund request properly via email.

After numerous complaints via emails, phone calls and left messages I received one return call AFTER I mentioned lawsuit. I was told my complaint will be addressed and they will return my call it's been 8 days NO RETURN CALL NO COMMUNICATION from them and the slanderous podcast is still public.

In emails with Podbean, and after they threatened to cancel my account if I didn't remove this complaint. I laid out how and why they should not have automatically begun placing ads in my podcast feed, since I never actually signed up for such service and there are legal precedents preventing them from doing so.
I also relayed to them the only email notice I received about programmatic ads, that did not cover any automatic enrollment in such a service. Lastly, I laid out two criteria for them to resolve this matter: 1) pay the money owed me from the placing of the ads and 2) confirma I can transfer ad-free episodes from Podbean to Megaphone.Podbean did not refute any of the legal precedents nor explanations I laid out to them.
They did also pay me what was owed me and have confirmed the podcast feed is now ad-free. So unless more issues come up, then Podbean has held up their end of the bargain and worked to resolve this matter.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. After emailing back and forth, Podbean support did confirm that I could access my feed and transfer episodes to new hosting platform without embedded ads.
But then this past December, Podbean automatically, without clear notification and without consent, started adding ads into podcasts, regardless of whether a podcaster had previously setup automatic ad insertion or not. Podbean unilaterally opted in every podcast and only mentioned it on the FAQ section of their website, but again no direct notification went out to podcasters.
Now ads are rampant in my podcast episodes and actually embedded in my audio, not just dynamically inserted.
