I called Plumbing nerds to have a washing machine box and the hot and cold valve replaced. The first thing the technician did when he came in was look at my hot water heater.
Then he went to the washing machine box and got on his computer and started figuring out the price. While working on his computer he told me it would be pricey. He then showed me the price on the computer which was over $1,200 I just about fell over. I ask him why it was so expensive when I could pick up a box at Home Depot with the valves for under $100 and I can't see it taking over 2 hours to do.
He told me that's just what the company charges. I told him that was too much I thought he was ripping me off. then he had the nerve to ask me about my hot water heater. I told him he could just leave.
I called Panther Plumbing they fixed the box and the valves for $350 and it took him an hour and a half to do it. I called and talked to one of the managers from Plumbing nerds why was so high. I told him that Panther Plumbing fixed it for $350 and it took an hour and a half. How can they justify on charging so much.
He told me that yeah maybe an experience plumber could fix it in an hour and a half so that telling me they're hiring unexplained plumbers and triple the amount of time to do the job and charging a customer. just wanted to give people a heads up that Plumbing nerds is ripping people off don't call them unless you want to spend four times the money.

I paid them to replace my water heater. After the fact I found I paid twice the going rate.
I feel burned. They also were supposed to pull a permit but did not.
