Cricut - No longer works with my operating system?

Spent over $500 on machine and accessories, and open it up one day to find an update-update installed and now it doesn't work I lost a project I worked on for hours in editing and the cursor is jumping all over the place, won't work properly. Cricut says, "Oh yes, it doesn't work optimally with your operating system".
I have a 4,000 Macintosh with every update available-what else would you like me to buy? Poor software.

Don't use this. We made the mistake of installing this system among several of our clients websites. The features, layout, etc. look nice and useful at first, and they are! Until, it all breaks. Then, the update breaks it worse. Then, the de-bug fix they offer breaks...

i am unable to work on one project when i was previously able to work on it. a red notice pops up on the screen saying it’s a plug in error when i am still able to work on all other project minus one or two parts of this specific project which make no sense to me because i was working on it just fine.
i have updated the design space, refreshed the page many times, restarted my computer to see if that would help and it remains the same. i called today for help and i was put on hold for to long and i feel that custom service shouldn’t have taken that long.
