Aliexpress - AE misleading their customers - Don't buy !

I've ordered a playmat for my baby, first time with AE, the product arrived damages and I've submitted a dispute.
Since I had no use of the broken product, neither I could wait for the alternative part to arrive (baby will be too big), I asked for a full refund but the seller didn't accept.
At that point AE stepped in and offered me the settlement:" Refund Only US $ 46.14 " (product price is US $ 51.27)
I had innocently thought that AE will refund me $46.14 and foolishly approved it.
Only days later I thought that they might have meant that they will not refund me $46.14 but I will be charged with "only" $46.14 - Indeed that was the case.
Would I have known that I will need to pay $46.14 for a damaged product I can't make use of needless to say I wouldn't have taken the settlement.
So I have asked to cancel my acceptance of the settlement and continue with the dispute but I was rejected leaving me to pay 90% of a product I can't make any use of, basically, money that is meant for my baby was gone to waste.
The problems in this case is double:
1. Using a VERY unclear sentence " Refund Only US $ 46.14 " that when a buyer reads it it's impossible for him to figure out that he will need to pay $46.14 instead of the opposite.
2. AE not allowing me to reverse my decision made by a foul judgment triggered by AE representative.
I'm buying things online all the time and despite the bad reputation AE has I decided to take my chance and order. Not only the product arrived damaged but I was mislead by poor customer support representative with a laconic sentence. This leaves me as a very unsatisfied customer that feels he was tricked into taking his money.
