Neutron Spinner, Dangerous for Kids
- - Neutron Spinner spins fast; my daughter injured, hospitalized 3 days.
- - School says it's safe; supervision at Timberwood Park Elementary is limited.
New playground equipment called the Neutron Spinner, Kids hang onto it as it spins around, usually at a high rate of speed while other kids assist in the spinning process. My daughter sustained Abdominal injuries and was hospitalized fo three days w/ internal injuries, pain & nausea & vomiting.
Parents beware! This happened in the Comal County School District in the State of Texas. Complaints were made to the school but they are standing firm that the equipment is safe.
There is also a lack of supervision on the playground at that school (Timberwood Park Elementary). School Principle & Superintendants are so tied up in the beuracracy & politics of their job that they provide little or no assistance in getting rid of this dangerous piece of playgrouned equipment.!!!!!!!!!
