- - Arrived early, test drove, and spoke with staff.
- - The vehicle was sold without continued negotiations and I will not return or recommend.
On June 1, I arrived at the dealership as soon as it opened and spoke with a salesperson about a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, I asked whether the price was negotiable, and I was told that it was.
Based on that conversation, I submitted an offer and waited to hear back.
After some time, I was informed that the vehicle had been sold to another customer without giving me an opportunity to continue negotiations or submit a final offer. As the first customer to visit the dealership and express serious interest in the vehicle, I believe I should have been given the courtesy of a response and a fair chance to complete the transaction.
This experience left me feeling that customer service and professional business practices were not a priority.
As a result, I will not be returning to this dealership, nor would I recommend it to others. In my opinion, both the sales staff and management handled this situation poorly and unprofessionally.
Preferred solution: I would like them to find me a vehicle identical to the one I want to purchase
