Bait and switch dental practice

Platinum Dental Care 65 Broadway, New York,NY. This is a bait and switch operation. They tell you they take your insurance to get you in the door for routine cleanings but then they try and charge you all kinds of fees. So you try and dispute it with the office manager, who will not come to the phone or call you back. If you are persistent and call them back, they have found out that the procedure is in fact covered by your insurance and the fees and what they are trying to charge you is either totally covered or half of what they told you, so they tell you they dropped your insurance without any notification to your or your insurance. Again, the office manager will not call you back. Its a huge scam. Also, the place looks more like a plastic surgery office than a dental office with brochures with all the latest in botex, juvederm etc. I have notified my insurance company, filed a grievance and going to notify the proper NY authority.
