New device broke after 15 month of normal use. Called Plantronics but would not help me. Sounds great when it works, Poor support when there is a problem. Poor quality device! Customer: i can send right now Agent: Let me send you a email and reply to it with the proof of purchase is this your email XXX@***.com Customer: yes Customer: i send the reply Agent: Thank you one moment Customer: I forgot to mention, and you will see this on the invoice, this was purchased by a business. Agent: Unfortunately the unit is out of warranty it was purchase in April at the moment is out of warranty Customer: Can an exception be made? Its only 3 months over. This device is heavily used and I brag to everyone about how great they are. Customer: this is now not usable at all. Agent: I check with the warranty department and they can only help extending the equipment warranty one more month after they go out of warranty but if is one more day after 13 months the unit is out of warranty Customer: this device is poorly made an broke under normal usage, it is not reasonable not to cover it one time. Customer: i can provide photos of where it broke Agent: Unfortunately the unit is damaged we do no know how that happen and is no issue we can help do the replacement when the headset is in warranty if it is not in warranty anymore you will need to purchase another unit Customer: You understand this is an expensive unit, and you won't stand behind your product? Customer: As i mentioned this broke under normal usage. Customer: Hello? Agent: I understand, but this is why the unit has a one year warranty on it if the unit is out of that period we can not replace it under warranty Customer: Also understand, this lack of support will force me to buy another headset. I promises it won't be a Plantronics, EVER! I will never recommend a Plantronics device again! I will also file a complain on your company website with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, Yelp and any other place I can find. Terrible service and poor designed created to make you buy more. I'm not falling for it. Poor poor products!! Agent: I understand in this case the receipt is showing that the unit is out of warranty we can help 1 more month when the unit is out of warranty after this time is out of warranty and we can not replace it.
