They rip off senior citizens

SCAM ALERT!!!On 10/16/2024 I drove my 2019 Ford F-150 to CAR 75 LLC., DBA American Automotive Inc. AKA Plantation Firestone and Radiator.
I was told by Scott that they could repair it. He told me to leave a cash deposit of $2750.00 for parts. I did and was given receipt which was non compliant with the Broward County consumer affairs. Also they didn't provide a legal right to an estimate form.
I told them that the engine was a top of the line coyote motor so if they had any problems to let me know. 2 months later Scott and owner Kenneth Anson told me the heads had to be redone by a 3rd. party in Hialeah so if I wanted my truck fixed had I had to provide another $2000,cash preferred. I did because they guaranteed this would fix it.
Over the next 6 months Scott and owner Kenneth Anson would tell me story after story for delaying my repair knowing I had to leave the country soon. Finally they admitted they couldn't put it back together and tried to sell me an used engine for 2x the normal price but they'd put it in for free..free?? I already paid $4750. Again they knew I had to leave the country.
In April I told them to put it back the way it was they refused , the law said it was a civil matter that could take a couple years. I had to leave the country in 1 week by then. So I had to tow it out with all the parts tossed in the back, now damaged and rained on for months. Congrats fellows ,you've succeeded in ripping off a 66 year old senior citizen.
And this wasn't the 1st. Time, there are more that I've met. For anyone who's filing a lawsuit owner Kenneth Anson owns the property on 631 S.441 Plantation,33317,and his property at 960 East Tropical Way, Plantation,Fl.
Is listed as part of his corporation. Come on citizens show these guys what you think of stealing from old folks.
