Cyber bullying Incident

I am writing to bring to your attention an incident involving my daughter, Jasmine Martinez. During my meeting with the principal, I was distressed by an email sent to my daughter by one of her classmates.

The email contained bullying language directed explicitly towards my daughter. As a concerned parent, I felt it was necessary to express my concerns about the situation and seek advice on handling it. Unfortunately, the principal informed me that he couldn't act unless the email was sent from a school-issued Chromebook.

Furthermore, he mentioned that he could not provide assistance since the incident occurred over the weekend.

Instead, he suggested discussing the matter with the school's police officer. During my second visit to the principal's office, I brought up my concerns about a classmate who had informed my daughter Jasmine that she knew who had written the anonymous email that threatened the safety of the school.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the principal stated that he could not initiate an investigation with just this information. This response left me frustrated and concerned about the safety of my daughter and other students at the school. I am left wondering when would be the appropriate time for the principal to take action and begin an investigation into the matter. As a parent, it is disheartening to feel that my concerns are not being heard and that my child's safety is not being prioritized.

I am deeply concerned about the safety of our school's students and hope that the administration takes effective action to address this issue.

It is essential that measures are put in place to prevent any potential harm to our students and that the school provides a secure and nurturing environment for all. I urge the administration to prioritize the safety of our students and take all necessary steps to ensure their well-being.
