Check in then immediately had to leave due to emergency

I really like staying here my only complaint is that I checked in 30min later had an emergency I had to leave to Houston for and they would not give me a pro rated refund or any refund???

So I made a reservation using my profile, but my friend was going to be there first. I didn't know that it was a problem if he showed up first to check in with his ID and his information under my profile.

I should have made him a profile, or we should have made that profile for him separately. He paid for the room with his credit card and was going to check in with his ID. The credit card used for that reservation was not mine; it was his, and so that's why we had him checking in under his ID. I apologize; we were just trying to make it simple and easy for us, but we didn't know that it was going to get me barred from renting from y'all.

Now that I know, I will make sure that this never happens again, and I'll have my friend make his own profile so that way he can check in through his own profile.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I do love y'all's properties, and I would like to continue doing business with y'all. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Me and my friend recently booked a reservation at your property and was told we were barred from renting there without giving any reason no one can tell us why my friend and I have never booked together and so he was going to arrive at the property before me so I used my account to book the reservation but put his ID down and information because he was going to be the first one to arrive at Joe's location so he can check us in and get us into the room I don't see anything wrong with that maybe y'all did please notify me as to why I can no longer rent it for me as properties this is disheartening and I have done a lot of business to go in the past I would like to get this fixed thank you have a wonderful day

The name on the reservation, account used for payment and the person checking in (ID required) ALL must match. Your friend, if allowed to check in could trash/damage the room and your credit card charge for the damages could be disputed.

Your recommendation to use a third party would result in the same. Although your friend would not know until he tried to check in.

At that point he would have to wait for you to arrive. Or worse, the hotel could cancel the reservation then you’d have to fight the third party booking site for a refund.
