Delayed repairs missing two seasons of boating rude & disrespectful
Never finished critical repairs on time delaying for months but promising weekly or monthly. Rude and disrespectful and uncouth. Never had seen any thing like this in my entire experience. Do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere. Pay 50% of the estimate and then they have you with false promises. As a result of the incessant multi month delays I have missed two precious and consecutive boating seasons. Their subcontractors are overworked and tardy to put it politely. communication by the owner is surly and absent and non responsive except when it's billing time and when it comes to that there is not delay

Promised a refund that never came
Pirates cove marina in Portsmouth RI took me for $2750. Promised a refund on a boat slip that I rented in may of 2011 then departed forva job in FL in early June. Brandon the VP knew about this possibility shortly after i placd the deposit. He promised a refund, in the event i relocated, less a 20% re-sale fee. Now Brandon the owner and operator sends me a rude-o- gram saying no refund, after i have been patient for five months. I guess he figures that I since I moved to FL from RI, I'm out of range and he can be a "pirate". Bad business practice, no ethics, beware of doing business here.
