Not so true. Sounds like unhappy employee.

Worked there for 3 years. Not my career path but it was an entry level sales and marketing job.

Stay away from Pinnacle Energy

AI Highlights
  • - Windows installed 15 years ago with a 50-year glass warranty.
  • - First batch took 6 months; second over a year.
  • - Owner unresponsive; replacing windows.

I had 22 windows installed by Pinnacle Energy about 15 years ago and the windows came with a 50 year warranty on glass discoloring, smoking and other damage. Over the years at least 15 of the window glass have gone bad, the first round (10 pieces of glass) it took me 6 months of fighting with the ownership to replace the windows and the second round (5 piece of glass) it took me over a year to get them to replace the glass.

I have 4 more pieces of glass that have gone bad and I have called the owner at least 6 times and he has never returned my calls. He met be the most unprofessional person I have every dealt with. I have decided to replace those Windows with another company and I'm paying a lot of $$$ to have them replaced. I'm not happy but I want my home to continue to look nice.

If Pinnacle Energy ever contacts you about replacing siding, Windows, roof etc., run for the hills, hang up on them or slam the door in their face.

You will regret ever doing business with this very up reputable company. Believe me, I do.

Pinnacle Energy Staff Review from Wilmington, Delaware

AI Highlights
  • - Pinnacle salesman came to the door claiming no sale, only noting neighborhood work.
  • - He did not wear a badge or county license.

A Pinnacle Salesman came to my door tonight 8/13/2015 and said he was not doing sales but just letting me know they are doing work in neighborhood. He was not wearing a badge or county license.

We have a no solicitation policy in our community. Still he tried to proceed so I told him i would call police and did! This company is using fraudulent sales tactics, not displaying proper identification, etc.

Do not open your door for this company! Linda

Good for you calling the police! The "work" they were doing in your area was trying to get people to switch! Most likely, they are not employees of the energy company but work for a outside marketing company and work on 100% commission.

Pinnacle Energy - Did not pay me for the total time I worked there!

AI Highlights
  • - Promised $500/week for eight weeks; only $500 paid with a $900 balance due.
  • - No time sheets or wage records were provided.

I worked for Pinnacle Energy (Remodeler of doors, windows siding, roofing) for about four weeks and was told I would receive $500.00 each week for eight weeks of training by the Vice-President of Sales on the first day of orientation. When week four came I decided this was not the right job for me and was given a check for $500.00 and was never told when I would receive the balance of $900.00 of wages due.

I waited until the next pay period which was two weeks later and called about my wages due and was informed the company wasn't going to issue me any more checks. I tried calling and e-mailing the Vice-President & President but they would not talk to me. I filed a complaint with the Wage & Hour Division and was told I have to supply information to support my claim but the problem is the company never issued us any time sheets or recorded our work hours so they now state that I didn't complete the training and I am not entitled to any more money. I can't afford a lawyer so I am between a rock and a hard place as to getting my wages.

I did complete all of the required paperwork to get paid and was in training with another person plus the office staff saw me in training each day but I can't get them to court with out a lawyer's help. They never issued me any handbook so with all this said I bet they have done this before to other employees.

Your complaint is that you want to paid for not working? Did you not mentioned you were training? Only in America!

Guest

Training? So wait, you didn't do anything?

Guest

Worked for Pinnacle. Was there for about 6 months.

I didnt really like the job but it was a transition as i was waiting to move. Can't really say anything bad other than the hours were not that great for my personal situation.

I never had any issues with my compensation. Sorry you had bad luck, did you try Delaware Department of Labor?
