Original 12.30.16 6:45 pm I am having a very difficult time with this service request. After dealing with this for over 2 hours on Wednesday, I was told it would be escalated to level 2 and that I would get a call back today.
My call window was between 10am and 12pm. I did not receive a call until after 1pm. Next, I was told I needed to download a new windows10 and that a level 2 tech would call me back. I was told if no one called, I should call and I would be connected to a level 2 tech.
I did not get a call back, so I called in and got a rep. I explained my situation and then was put on hold. Sat on hold, then finally spoke with a level 2 tech who told me he needed to check my service request history and he put me on hold again. I sat on hold for 20 to 30 more minutes and was then disconnected.
Instead of someone calling me back, I had to start the whole process over again and now am having to wait another 1 to 2 hours for another call back. I am very disappointed with the quality of service that has been provided so far. Also, on Wednesday they uninstalled and then reinstalled my outlook 2016 in an attempt to fix the problem. All of my contacts were lost in the process as well as all of my gmail.
I am hoping this issue can be resolved and these items reinstalled. Again, I am very unhappy with this experience so far. I am hopeful for a more positive experience moving forward from this point. So, I get on the chat again, spend 15 minutes going through the whole rig-a-ma-role, only to be promised a call within 30 minutes. UPDATE 2 - 12.30.16 920 pm: Guess what? Waited another 30 minutes…still no call. I get on the chat line again…go through the whole rig-a-ma-role…again…now it’s 9:30 pm.
I have been sitting on this computer since 10am this morning, waiting for calls that come hours late or never come at all. I have never had such a terrible, terrible, terrible customer service experience. Now I am being told it will be another 1 to 2 hours before anyone will be able to call me back…again. I don’t even know what to say.
I have been told over and over it would be taken care of only to be given the round around. And now it’s 10pm and I have been given a ‘maybe’ for tomorrow 12-2pm window. UPDATE 3 – 12.31.16 2:00 pm. After being assured both last night and earlier today (ref # ) that I would receive a call back between 12 and 2pm, I still have not received a call back.
STILL NO CALL BACK. NO CALL BACK. I have been told 4 (maybe 5) times that I would receive a call within a certain window of time, and STILL NO CALL BACK UPDATE 4 – 1.1.17 5:45 pm. I was promised a call back within 60 minutes at 4:29 pm.
Hard to believe, but NO ONE CALLED ME. What is wrong with you, Microsoft? Why do you allow your customer service representatives to mislead your customers over and over again? Why won’t anyone call me back?
One of the main reasons I got the Microsoft Office 365 was because of the promise of customer support. I have no words to express how disappointed and frustrated I am.
