Still haven’t received money Piedmont natural gas owes me

Im enrolled in the equal payment plan with Piedmont natural gas.

Piedmont sent me a check of $165.89 as amount I overpaid. However, the check arrived when it had expired.

So I called customer service to follow-up and each time I called they told me, that a new check was in the process of being issued and will be mailed within a week. Its been more than a month but have still not received it. I have tried four times to send an email on the Piedmont natural gas website but unsuccessful because their website is set up in a way that it doesnt allow you to submit your complaint. Everything goes on well until you get to the submit button and after clicking on it, it fades and screen freezes.

Ive been trying for the past week and still same issue.

As of writing this complaint, I have still not received my refund check. I will not stop until I receive it.

They are greedy. Whenever I move, I always schedule a disconnect request and they never do it.

They always end up saying the technician couldn't do it because of obstructions or something else, which is a lie. Time goes by and then I get hit with a bill at my old location that is high and never disconnected. New tenants end up using my gas service and they still won't disconnect it. Also telling me they don't disconnect it they leave it on for the next tenant to put in their name.

Evil greedy company.

3 times they have done it to me. But if your late on a bill they won't hesitate to come disconnect it.
