Poor servive from Dr Guirgis, St Pete Pain Management

AI Highlights
  • New doctor (Dr Guirgis) said he'd send OxyCodone 20mg and Belbuca.
  • Pharmacy hasn't received prescriptions after two business days and I am in pain.

I saw a Dr yesterday at 8:15am, Wednesday, Dec 6, 2023 ,that works with Dr Guirgis. He is fairly new and I forget his name.

Our appt went well and he said he was sending a prescription for OxyCodone 20mg which I have been gettin for quite a few years.

He also was sending one for Belbuca. It is now 5pm on Thursday and my pharmacy has not received the prescription. Two full business days! I am out of my medication and am in extreme pain.

I have had two spinal fusions, six total joint replacements and have acute pain down both legs that will not let me sleep at night.

This is not acceptable. If this is not remedied quickly, I will take further action.

Your clinics are over full and you are still accepting patients. The wait times can be very long and the staff in the office are less than competent.

They have bad attitudes. Not all, but some.

Please get back to me ASAP.

Than you,

Peter Foulds

Pros:
  • Dr guirgis is a good dr
Cons:
  • Practice has taken on too many patients resulting in long wait

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

User's recommendation: I would be careful selecting St Pete Pain Management. Their office has too many patients and can result in long waits. The Drs are stretched too thin between procedures and seeing patients.
