Unprofessional, homes are not as they appear
We had the displeasure of using this company this past weekend. When we showed up to the home it was nothing like the photo's. It was filthy, run down, with bugs, dirty pool, filthy carpets, broken doors, drapes falling down, 1/2 inch of dirt on back yard chairs, loungers, the BBQ was never cleaned and filthy. the company said they would send someone out the next day to fix it. I would not stay in that kind of filth for any amount of money. We moved to a hotel that cost us $1500 cdn The owner is rude, *** and unprofessional

I own Phoenix Vacation Rental homes and have zero complaints
This pissed website is the real pissed off consumer website to say the least. They got a couple links on this site and a couple signups but the site is a scam. They post anything, well they don't, they allow anyone to post anything in the world about a company. That has to be illegal and they will get shut down soon I hope. I bought this domain years ago to later find out someone in Texas owned it before me. My website is a for rent by owner website, you get rental contracts from the owner or listing agent. So there is not a way for anyone to be upset with us for any reason at all. We are helping tenants find properties and owners to find tenants. Our press release below from 7 years ago! Hello, Our company Phoenix Vacation Rental Homes has listed properties for owners since 2007 and is in good standing with everyone. We have a licenced Real Estate Brokerage located in Chandler AZ. Not Texas! Never had any ties to Texas. We finally found this website where some apparent competitor posted blatant lies about our company. We have emailed this website to remove these postings but this website does not respond to emails. So please visit our website and contact us directly, I am a licensed real estate agent in Arizona and can help you find a quality rental property so you can enjoy a vacation in Arizona. This Website You are on now is a joke to say the least
They do not answer emails or take phone calls. Anyone therefore in the world can say anything they want.....all day long too if they wish. I have no idea what this site is trying to accomplish exactly. I have used PVRH for years without a problem at all. I know the owner of the website and he is simply referring rental bookings to property owners or agents for a fee. I rented from the lady making the only complaint ever on this site in over 8 years and later found out that she used PVRH to advertise her property at no cost to her. Once done, she cancelled her good faith agreement with the owner. PVRH runs into all kinds of stuff over the years with people just using them for nothing. Free advice and work, I have told others about that property and owner since. Steve Alberta

Beware of doing business with this company!
I found the owner of Phoenix Vacation Rental Homes website is not a trustworthy ethical businessman. Beware of listing or booking your vacation home with Jon, the owner. His service skills are the worst that I have ever dealt with and he certainly does not have his customer's best interest in mind when trying to book a reservation. He does not keep the rates up-to-date so when I attempted to book a reservation, it felt more like a "bait and switch" since he would not honor the published rate. Go to a reputable website like VRBO.com or HomeAway.com and you will be far more satisfied!

Unprofessional Bully - Owner of the Phoenix Vacation Rental Homes website!
I am an owner of one of the vacation homes listed on this website. I never asked for my home to be listed and I do not recall ever giving permission for Jon, the owner, to list my property. I certainly did not sign a contract! Two weeks ago I received my first inquiry and it just so happened that the potential renter brought to my attention that my rate listed was less than I had published on two reputable professional websites that I had contracted with. I contacted Jon to let him know that he had my rates listed incorrectly and asked him to waive his fee (20% commission) and I would absorb a small amount as well, just so we could please the potential customer. I also asked him to contact the customer to explain the problem and try to resolve to the guest's satisfaction and let me know how it was resolved. I never heard back from the owner nor the interested renter and I doubt that Jon ever contacted the customer. I waited three days and checked the Phoenix Vacation Rental Homes website and found that my rate for February 2015 still had not been corrected, showing a lower rate than I am charging. I immediately e-mailed the owner and made him aware of the problem and asked him to remove my vacation home listing from his website. He responded quickly, stating he couldn't understand why any owner would not want their property advertised for FREE! He came back with all the reasons why I should stay listed, but never addressed my request to be removed. I immediately responded and again reinforced that I only wanted to do business with courteous professional people and asked the owner to remove my listing. Jon responded that there was a $99 cancellation fee that I would need to pay via PayPal. I was shocked that a business owner that I never asked to do business with, had the audacity to charge me to remove my listing! I just read some of the other complaints on this sight and I can confirm that this owner is not an honest businessman, based on my recent experience with him.

Phoenix Travel Club in Dallas Scam
I responded to an advertisement for Phoenix Travel Club for a visit at the Galery in Dallas. Their presentation seemed very good and the savings appeared to be worth the investment. I paid the money and later determined that the savings were not significant on the Phoenix website. I requested via certified mail that they refund my money but Phoenix kept the 15% and the 299 fee. So I am out 600 dollars. I am in the process of filing letters with the Attorneys General of Texas and Indiana. I would be interested in a class action suit if that is being created.

Phoenix Vacations has committed fraud taken thousands of my dollars.
phoenix vacations is nothing but a scam. My wife and I were "invited" called many times to attend a presentation at the galleria mall in Dallas. After feeling like we didn't want to do it my wife convinced me to go because of the free trips they were offering and we lived so close. however, the presentation was too good to be true and offered discounts on hotels, motels, condominiums and cruises. Reluctently we bought into the program and was told that we had 3 days to return the package well we tried to return the package and had to mail a kit to one state fax a cancelation letter to another state and jump through hoops to cancel a product we felt uncomfortable with and after reviewing the informatino on the internet it comes to find out this company changes names more than Prince. They have gone by somerset, funseekers, castaways vacation club, Beachcombers vacations. I told the gentleman on the phone I did not want the product and he told me he would make it right the next day when I called I was told i was out of my 3 day right of recision and owned the product and they would be happy to send me back my kit at my expense. Confused I asked him why he told me he would make it right and I was told he did make it right and I was now a part of a fantastic travel club that could save thousands of dollars. I requested my money back again and was given two choices: Keep the membership and be happy or keep the membership and be unhappy, but either way I couldn't get my money back and had I been able to it would have cost me over a thousand dollars to cancel do to the fine print that says they charge a 15% restocking fee and a one time 299 application fee. I could see the application fee and called it a day but this basically is deceptive trade practices for which I am getting a hold of the attorney general the FTC and the Dallas District attorney's office to see what can be done. Any suggestions? anyone here want to join me in a class action lawsuit to get our money back from these scam artists? The owner has been ran out of several states for committing these same travel frauds. Someone has to stop them.. Phoenix vacations is associated with Castaways travel services, Beachcombers vacations, funseekers and somerset vacations all of which have been forced out of business or just changed their name to avoid the bad publicity.

Phoenix Vacation Rental Homes
Our website is a "for rent by owner" website. Very easy to read this all over the website.
That means "for rent by owner" and some folks do not understand this concept apparently. We assisted this person in getting the owner send someone over to the property right away. The cleaners and handyman worked to fix the issues in question as per the owner.
This tenant was still not happy and some people will not be no matter what.....well this is one of those people.
Again, this Pissed Website has to be shut down and amazing it is not to date. They let anyone post anything and do not takes calls or return emails.
