I hired Jay Phillips 6 weeks ago to do a garage bedroom conversion. I paid him $7400 upfront which was half.
He done about 5% of the work and stopped showing up and answering calls. I found him though home advisor so beware!
The little work that he did is subpar and cannot be used. He is a fraud

I hired Phillips elite construction abilene tx.first part of Dec 2016,he said he could paint my house in 2 weeks now 6wks later nothing still but promised a credit of 2,200.00 on my next project, No thank u give me my 1,500.00 back he said it would be in the mail and it hasnt showed up yet as of Jan.13th..Jay quit answering my text and calls ,so unprofessional after he told me to get rid of my first contractor and he would paint my house right and not to worry about nothing. I was out of town assuming myhouse was being painted no but Jay also made himself at home in my house doing a #2 in my tiolet and it stopped up due to tiolet being turned off due to slow flushing well lets just say my brother went to check on my house that pm and the house reaked of *** smell it took my brother almost a hr to clean it up..
Im in chemo and very ill and not to be stressed at all this had made me sick my money hasnt ben refunded it took me months to get that money raised up .. I thought Jay was ok wrong on my judgement
