Verified Reviewer |Refundable deposits not refunded, reward points expiration, day camp
I just realized that I was never receiving my refundable deposits when I canceled prior to 7 days before the reservation. When I researched my account, I didn't even realize there were reward points and that I had 1430 points that had expired.
It would be nice if you got a notification that you had points or even a notification that you had points that were expiring soon. We board our pets in the luxury suites (separate suites) so we can view them on the cameras. On one instance, I dropped off our dogs at 12 PM as scheduled. When we dropped them off, we were told they didn't have enough luxury suites available, but another dog was about to check out of one.
They asked if they could temporarily put our dogs in the same suite until the other dog checked out. I said fine because it was only going to be a short while plus we always sign our pups up for all-day play when we board them. As the day went on, and we arrived at our destination around 5 PM, I looked at the camera and they were still in the same suite. My daughter had been watching them and said they never went to doggy day camp.
I called and asked why they weren't in day camp and was told she didn't know why. I asked why they were still in the same suite together and they said the other dog technically had until 8 PM to check out (which was not mentioned before). I then asked if I was going to be reimbursed for them missing day camp and given some credit for the luxury suite I paid for and didn't receive. They acted like it was crazy that I would want to be reimbursed.
They would have to talk to the manager and I never heard another word about it. We also bring our own blanket and toys and have caught them several times not putting any of that out in the suite. They have forgotten their medication when I picked them up and needed to drive back out 30 min to pick it back up. No apologies.
We pay too much for all of this to happen. Unfortunately, our boarding options are limited but we are looking for a new place.

Verified ReviewerIt is not a safe place for your dog
Pets are being cared for by mostly high school kids and staff with little to no veterinary experience. The resorts are gorgeous but behind the scenes it is shocking.
The resorts have 25 large dogs to ONE person. Can you imagine trying to watch 5 pitbulls, 5 German Shepherds, 5 Labs, 5 Golden Doodles, and 5 Dobermans in a spirited play group by yourself?
They overbook and only care about the money. They should all have cameras so the owners can really see what is going on.
- Nice facility
- Dangerous for pet well being
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Insist on cameras that allow a pet parent to monitor the behind the scenes.
