When I boarded my golden retriever last...
- - Not let out to potty for days.
- - The dog got sick and was picked up.
- - Meds and labeled food were not given; refund issued.
When I boarded my golden
retriever last year she was not let out to the runs to potty for days. Being highly trained
she was very upset and got sick.
Because she was throwing up they called me to come get her. They failed to give her some of the food that I brought.
This past weekend we boarded her again and they didnt feed her half of the food that I left for her (labeled and put in organized baggies) and neglected to give her her meds also labeled and put in baggies. They refunded the stay but my dog was sick from lack of meds and starving from lack of food! This is
Unbelievable to me.
The basic job of a boarding facility is to keep the animals safe and fed- period!! Will never trust you with my precious baby ever again and will give a scathing yelp review!!!
User's recommendation: NEVER board your dog here, the lack of basic care is unbelievable!

Verified Reviewer |Blackballed by dog hair cutter
- - Groomers are just hair cutters.
- - The manager has a problem with my wife after 7 years.
- - We were blackballed from local suites over not shaving the dog.
I was told by an employee that the groomers are just hair cutters, and the manager, who is a hair cutter, has a problem with my wife. After using your facilities for at least 7 years for boarding and grooming, we have been blackballed from all local pet suites—not because of the dog, but due to a disagreement with my wife when she did not want my dog shaved.
- Boarding was good
- Hair cutters
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Do not expect dog groomers they only cut hair

Verified Reviewer |Refundable deposits not refunded, reward points expiration, day camp
- - Refundable deposits weren’t issued after canceling.
- - 1430 reward points expired without notification.
- - Medication forgotten at pickup and no apology.
I just realized that I was never receiving my refundable deposits when I canceled prior to 7 days before the reservation. When I researched my account, I didn't even realize there were reward points and that I had 1430 points that had expired.
It would be nice if you got a notification that you had points or even a notification that you had points that were expiring soon. We board our pets in the luxury suites (separate suites) so we can view them on the cameras. On one instance, I dropped off our dogs at 12 PM as scheduled. When we dropped them off, we were told they didn't have enough luxury suites available, but another dog was about to check out of one.
They asked if they could temporarily put our dogs in the same suite until the other dog checked out. I said fine because it was only going to be a short while plus we always sign our pups up for all-day play when we board them. As the day went on, and we arrived at our destination around 5 PM, I looked at the camera and they were still in the same suite. My daughter had been watching them and said they never went to doggy day camp.
I called and asked why they weren't in day camp and was told she didn't know why. I asked why they were still in the same suite together and they said the other dog technically had until 8 PM to check out (which was not mentioned before). I then asked if I was going to be reimbursed for them missing day camp and given some credit for the luxury suite I paid for and didn't receive. They acted like it was crazy that I would want to be reimbursed.
They would have to talk to the manager and I never heard another word about it. We also bring our own blanket and toys and have caught them several times not putting any of that out in the suite. They have forgotten their medication when I picked them up and needed to drive back out 30 min to pick it back up. No apologies.
We pay too much for all of this to happen. Unfortunately, our boarding options are limited but we are looking for a new place.
- Beautiful facility
- Do not notify of reward points or expiration of points
- Do not lay out personal belongings you provide
- Are not upfront about availability of suites you reserved

Verified ReviewerIt is not a safe place for your dog
- - Staff with limited veterinary experience care for pets.
- - Gorgeous resorts; care behind scenes is concerning.
- - 25 large dogs cared for by one person.
Pets are being cared for by mostly high school kids and staff with little to no veterinary experience. The resorts are gorgeous but behind the scenes it is shocking.
The resorts have 25 large dogs to ONE person. Can you imagine trying to watch 5 pitbulls, 5 German Shepherds, 5 Labs, 5 Golden Doodles, and 5 Dobermans in a spirited play group by yourself?
They overbook and only care about the money. They should all have cameras so the owners can really see what is going on.
- Nice facility
- Dangerous for pet well being
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Insist on cameras that allow a pet parent to monitor the behind the scenes.

Your choice to take your dog back to a place you knew was neglectful is animal abuse. That's on you.
YOU did that. Shame on you.
If you chose to bring your dog back to a facility that had deprived her of food and other necessities, whatever happened on the second visit is YOUR FAULT. You were aware of the fact that service was bad and still went ahead. Please rehome your dog to someone who will actually care about its wellbeing.
