I hired Petship48 (Roadside Plus LLC dba Petship48 I found out is the actual company name) thru Citizenshipper.com on to transport 2 dogs (Violet &;; Rocky) from OR with Violet going to TX and Rocky going to me in NJ (OR to both TX and NJ- 2 dogs) because my stepdaughter passed away and they were her dogs and the people where the dogs were staying were going to take one of the dogs to a shelter and keep the other one if I didn't get them out of there. I got my confirmation of hiring them on 12/16/20 and was told the dogs were supposed to be picked up 12/22-23 and delivered 12/25-26. I told the owner "Chrissy" (aka Cherisse Lewis-Fletcher) that the dogs had no health certificate or shots and was told they REQUIRED a health cert to cross state lines, so she gave me a quote to originally pick up the dogs, board them, vet check them & transport them (some screenshots of our conversation say PRIVATE transport) for $5000 and that $2500 was for the transporting, the balance would be boarding, vetting & private transport. I told her I needed only vet and transport (no boarding) so she changed the quote to $3500. (which to me if the original transport quote she said was $2500, left $1000 for vetting). I "hired her" for that agreed-upon $3500 thru Citizen Shipper. I paid her the required 1/2 payment $1750 via Zelle (she only accepted Zelle or Cash App). "Chrissy" got me in contact with driver "Doug" and his co-worker "Dawn" during the trip as well. While the dogs were in route Doug told me they got into a car accident. Chrissy STILL has not told that to me. He also said that Rocky traveled on the seat and NOT in a secure crate. I am not sure if Violet was crated or not. I asked Doug (in a private message that Chrissy/Petship48 could not see) if he had the Health Certificates for the 2 dogs and he sent me a text saying no. I sent him screenshots of my booking showing my original agreement with Chrissy from PetShip48 showing $2500 for transport and the extra $1000 for vet ($3500 total) and he said that the owner of PetShip48 lies to all their customers but that he would not. I have screenshots and logs of all of my conversations with "Chrissy" aka Cherisse, Doug & Dawn to prove these things. He told me that both he & Dawn were never made aware that I paid the extra $1000 to have the 2 dogs taken to the vet for shots & a Health Certificate. I then asked in the group which included Chrissy if copies of the Health Certificates could be sent to me prior to the dogs arriving in TX and NJ (to not alert Chrissy that I already knew the dogs weren't vetted). It took awhile for her to respond, and when she did she said "no, we had to get the dogs out before a blizzard came - we can deduct $65 per dog because that is how much the shots are". I sent her screenshots of our conversation showing that she quoted me $1000 extra for the shots/health certificates. She then told me that $500 per dog of that was for "private transport" and said "we do not have them with any other pets. As a matter of fact TX is a private direct trip with only your pet on board". I knew this was not true as Doug was texting me the info privately and he said "Private transport?? I'm taking good care of them and don't say anything until after the 1st, but I have 5 dogs, 1 puppy and 2 cats in here". So the dogs coming to me were traveling from OR to TX and NJ with NO health certificate, not shots, not in a crate (at least Rocky) and possibly infecting or being infected by 6 other dogs and 2 cats not to mention jeopardizing my dog here with any communicable diseases that they picked up en route and all of us here and my stepdaughter Amber's sister Amanda and her family (including a toddler) in TX to possibly rabies (since the dogs didn't get a rabies shot...) all the while being lied to telling us they were privately transported, were going to be taken to the vet (which I paid the extra $1000 for) and then not telling us that they were in a car accident (which Rocky could have gotten out of the car in since he was uncrated). I spoke privately to Doug's partner Dawn on text as well and she shared a screenshot with me that she had told Chrissy/petship48 owner that she told one of the people sharing the trip (which proves we were not private transport too) about the accident and the replies from Chrissy telling her basically to listen to what she said and not tell the customers these things! This woman needs to lose her USDA license for transporting pets. I wish I had seen this review https://www.bizapedia.com/al/roadside-plus-llc.html before I hired this company (but then again I did not know that PetShip48 was actually Roadside Plus LLC at the time I hired her either as she only advertised the name PetShip48 on CitizenShipper.com ) because the review said that one of the drivers let the dog out off leash and it got hit and killed. Chrissy refused to take more than $65 per dog off my bill for shots, saying the rest of the $1750 balance was for "private transport" which as I told you was fraudulent. Since I was trying not to jeapardize Doug's pay from her for telling me, I did not tell her that I was communicating privately with him and I paid the bill so that she did not hold our dogs hostage by not authorizing them to be released to us, so I Paid the bal of $1620 - which was $1750 1/2 bal due minus the $130 for 2 dogs shots not done). So this woman not only jeapardized the health and safety of the dogs I was transporting, but other people's animals as well and committed fraud by charging me for things I did not receive (private transport) and possibly "bait & switch" (telling me transport & vet $3500 but transport only was $2500, never telling me up front that part of the transport fee was for private transport which she claimed but only telling me it was for the vet/health cert (and then telling me in the text that $500 per dog was for private transport which I didn't receive anyway according to the driver Doug & his partner Dawn). Doug & Dawn told me that they are both quitting from working with Chrissy & PetShip48 because she lies to all her customers. She only communicated to me as "Chrissy" but I researched and found the name Cherisse Lewis-Fletcher owned Roadside Plus LLC dba PetShip48 so I asked them (Doug & Dawn) flat out if "Chrissy" was Cherisse Lewis and they said yes. Also, the original confirmation Chrissy told me the dogs were to be picked up on Dec 22 from 6-8 pm. She kept changing the pickup time, telling me the driver hit traffic, then the driver was in snow, and finally the dogs were picked up 12/24 in the morning. (The be fair to the driver he did try to pick up the dogs the night of the 23rd but the people where the dogs were staying as I said were being difficult also and wouldn't answer their phone late to confirm at night so that's why finally on the 24th in the am). Doug the driver did tell me he was originally in the area on the 22nd and could have picked the dogs up but that Chrissy told him to deliver other dogs to AZ instead, and lied to us telling us that he was stuck in traffic & snow (and that's why he really couldn't get them on the 22nd - he had to drive to AZ then back to OR) . The dogs were finally delivered to TX and NJ on Sunday 12/27 and Violet (a 12 year old beagle mix who went to TX) got to the destination parched, eating like she had not been fed and limping). Doug had Violet until early that morning or sometime the night before & the company sent another driver to go meet him in IL and take Violet to TX from there (which might have been the ONLY part of the trip that Violet was with no other dogs yet Chrissy stated in a text to me when I questioned getting my $1000 back that "We had to add an additional vehicle/driver to privately drive your second pet to TX which is why both are being delivered the same day. This too was a specialty service and costs were transferred as your pet was privately driven to X via our Pet Concierge team". (This was after her text claiming weather was beyond our control which caused a delay on the pick up end" which was false as I said Doug texted to me that he was sent to AZ then back to OR and the pickup delay was not weather related. Nowhere in my original confirmation or booking did PetShip48/Chrissy say that I had $500 per dog for pet concierge/any additional drivers. She led me to believe that the $3500 included vet checks/health certifi or thcates as REQUIRED to cross state lines, and private transport (neither of which I received) to TX and then NJ which I why I kept asking the Driver Doug & his co-worker Dawn if they were going to TX first and then to me in NJ. The drivers were unaware that I paid for vet visit or that Chrissy had told me private transport until I shared the screenshots with them from Chrissy/PetShip48 at which point they felt bad for me that Chrissy was deceiving me especially given light that I was only using her service because we lost our daughter! One additional thing - on your USDA site her company is registered in Huntsville, AL and I find articles from Huntsville about this company, yet on their website it says their address is 2201 County Walk SW Snellville, GA 30039. Chrissy/Petship phone (229)785-**** - her employee/also works with Doug "Dawn" is (407)728-**** and Driver (subcontractor he said) Doug is (605)880-****. I have screenshots of everything if you need proof.
