Defective Product / Difficulty With Return and Refund

I purchased three trackers. One never worked, would not charge from day one.
I notified PetLink immediately and asked for a refund. I was told a return pick up would be arranged. I was pretty much ignored. Didn't hear back after 3 emails so I disputed the charge with my credit card.
Then I get an email with an apology and a return label for me to print off. I told them the nearest shipper was 45 mins away and asked for the pick up. Ignored again. So now they have my purchase money, and expect me to drive 1 1/2 hrs to return something that was broken to begin with, and loose the time from work, and pay for the costs of gas.
PETLINK DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER AND WHAT IS IN MY CONVIENENCE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT IS GOOD FOR THEM.
