Verified Reviewer |Not helpful in getting luggage to me
Recently had a tour booked with Peters Way. The hotel we stayed at on the 2nd night misplaced my luggage.
Placed it in an unoccupied room. I suggested that they check a specific room number as there may have been a tag from the previous hotel still on my bag. They said they did check that room but it wasnt until 2 nights later that someone checked into that room that they located my bag. It wasnt returned to me until the evening of the 8th tour day.
I filed with my Tavel insurance only to be told that I would not be reimbursed for delayed bag since it was not misplaced by a common carrier.
I wrote to Peters Way seeking reimbursement for the delay to be informed that they were not responsible for the hotels issue.
Yet Peters Way booked all of the hotels for the entire trip but dont stand behind they when the hotel messes up! Even the tour guides on the trip said that I would receive a day rate for delayed baggage!
Peters Way pushed the responsibility to the travel I sure company who didnt pay due to being a hotel issue.
The sheer aggravation and stress ruined my entire trip.
I would never tell anyone to travel with Peters Way!
Preferred solution: Baggage delay fee for 5 days. $150/day
