During routine exam vet said my dog needed heart worm injection. I had just told the vet that my dog was at least 10 years old, very sensitive to all foods, medicines and had a terrible reaction to flea/tick prevention meds. Vet said injection was necessary. Gave shot a...
Vetco Clinics - Not worth it
by SuccinctBarnOwl845 #15929162.0
Always a wait of an hour or more. People are allowed to sign up BEFORE the clinic starts which seems unfair.
Prices are not much lower than regular vet. Got a prescription for heart worm medicine but can't fill it because the company will not answer the phone when the pharmacy calls (2 separate pharmacies). Went to the NEXT clinic to fill the prescription with them and they told me I would have to go to the end of the line to be seen.
There were at least 10 other dogs in front of me, yet they did not seem to think it was inconvenient for me to wait in that line so they could hand me a box of medications. Never again.

Stop in to see what shots my dog needed to be updated. was told he only needed 2 shots and that it would be around $40.00.
I took him in for his shots two days later and was charged a $79.00 package. Mind you the last year the introduce a shot that he would only require a booster this year. Vetco is become a sales place for shots a.nd you must prepare your self for sales pitches and a bag of nonsense.
Suppose I didn't have the money to pay. I would have been arrested. So pissed right now

Not only was the vet 20 minutes late, she clearly did not want to be there. She treated other pets with disdain and when it was our turn, blatantly ignored the health concerns voiced by her own staff. We were told that we needed to split our vaccinations because our...
Vetco Clinics - Only care about money
by IncredibleMojaveRattlesnake575 #15604051.3
I took a couple of my cats to Vetco in Rochester, NY. They were rude, did not listen to what I wanted, and kept trying to get me to pay for more services than were needed.
I get that most of the employees are young, but they talk, act, and treat adults like mean girls. I will NEVER use them again.
There is zero empathy. Most were more interested in checking their phones and gossiping, including customers, than they were in doing their job.
