I purchased a Queen A2 standard, remote would not work, so they replaced it, pump died so they replaced it, then mattress would no hold air, I had to pay to replace it, now the other side won't hold air, gotta pay to replace it. Give me a lame excuse, it is because it is the standard A2 & not A4. REALLY??? So guess they want you to replace each side every 2 -3 years. Should have kept my SELECT COMFORT BED, my parents bought it 35 - 40 years ago, then gave it to me, nothing wrong with it just needed a smaller bed.

Scheduled a couple days off work also Expecting delivery of this bed so lost work money. Paid $8500 for the bed and lost work.

Have big fat zero bed and two sheets sets that have a split in them. Biggest scam ever

Well I cant even explain how pissed we are. We have been in contact with the company for a few months now. We ordered our bed At the beginning of March I think. Due to Covid delivery was delayed and we understand that. However. even after several phone calls and I mean probably 20, we still dont have a bed. We have been told for two months now that they were going to deliver it. We paid for Delivery and set up but have yet to see our bed. But they were sure happy to take our $8000 and send us a set of sheets.

Still have the same problem last week with more promises from the company, someone would call me etc. etc.

Well finally today, someone from the shipping company actually called me! We are scheduled to get our bed on Friday, 4 days from now.

I will let you know how that turns out. If not I would be happy to do a video tape interview with you.

They finally delivered the upgrade. They also gave me a significant discount.

Initial delivery was list. We had to call the local shipping company and arrange ourselves.

Bed came and it was hard as a rock. They sent a thin layer of foam, did not do the trick. I called and they suggested a $600 upgrade. Fine.

Ordered on Feb 11. Still has not arrived. They are baffled why this was not delivered. They were supposed to let me know what was going in today.

Never called. So frustrating.

Bought a Personal comfort bed in May of 2019 spending $3600.00, Since that time I have not been able to use the bed the way intended. First one bladder leaked they replaced after me trying numerous things. Second the pump went out I was without a pump for almost three months claim the factory ran out only after calling many times I finally did receive a loaner pump and told mine would be repaired and sent back , still waiting been two months. Third the other bladder is leaking I talked to everyone I could in Management and was told I could not return and get my money back. Shipper not so good, outstanding customer service. Broken & ripped box, ripped plastic packing, broken wood poked into mattress but the shipping clown's still delivered.

Refused delivery, took photos, contacted Personal Comfort support, sum what difficult to get thru to. Support Team took info.

10 days later new split king mattress set was delivered & setup. Delivery people did setup but couldn't answer questions, they usually deliver exercise equipment.

Customer sertvice

The bed was dupose to have white glove Delivery. It has been here a week and no one called for setting up the bed. m OI had to call customer service and they said it was all taken care of. I get the dreaded robot call says it will deliver as soon as they get it but I already have it but no set up. Call customer service again get put on hold saying I am number 1 and the it hangs me up. that happened several times. I thought I finally I had it suppose to set up bed on Saturday and I will be called with a time. I get a call good old robot call saying I will get a delivery on Saturday. I call customer service again and they tell me that the deliver call means bed set up. I told them delivery is not the same as setting up the bed. Customer service sucks they do not care. If my bed is not set up tomorrow They can return the bed.

My wife and I had another amazing night’s sleep. We’ve had our Personal Comfort bed for 6 weeks. This was our experience with them. The company educates you about their products so that you can make good decisions to fit your needs. From purchase to delivery they were just plain awesome. The setup was by them, they showed up on time, were quick & professional. They even put on shoe covers while in the house. They showed us how things work (no need to read the manual as the system is intuitive). Best of all when finished nothing to clean up afterward. The bed deserves some special comments. It’s comfortable. It’s easy to use and quick to learn which settings I like and my wife has hers. She particularly likes the zero-gravity setting and the massage cycle. It’s fully adjustable to either’s liking and can be independent of the others side if desired. I like that the mattress separation is small and only runs half way down so you can still cuddle if you wish. If you're looking for a new comfortable bed you should give serious consideration to this bed. The deeper you look the better quality materials, operation and experience you’ll find. Overall, Personal Comfort more than earned their 5 star rating from us.

Dont Buy accessories

I really like the bed. But when you buy it, accessories arent covered under any return policy. We bought a 1k$ chili pad that doesnt work. And I dont mean broken, I mean they just dont work. They just functionally dont have the btus top cool a person thats a heat releaser like I am. Plus when you get the bed (If you order White Glove Delivery) they dont set those up either. So our bed gets here, they set it up, and then wont set up anything else. In addition, they guys that showed up didnt even know how to install the bed, but googled it the night before. SO its a buyer beware. As I said, so far I love the bed, but their policies arent very consumer friendly.

Thank you for your review, and we're sorry to hear your ChilliPad isn't cooling properly. This is a warranty issue with ChilliPad so you can contact them at 877-235-6271.

The advertise sub 60 degrees with the heat load of a body on the mattress. If it not performing, there must be an issue with your unit.

We hope your are loving your new Personal Comfort mattress. As you know, we fully disclosed verbally and in writing that our accessories, (including adjustable bases) are not returnable before processing payment.

Bad choice !!!!!

mattress was never ever comfortable. took forever to get the damn thing, missing pieces, wrong size pieces (had to cut down some foam to fit). it seems that the pump is just...well... off. never seems to deflate much until it gets to around 11 or 12 ! that cant be right. !! when you inflate from 30 to 45, it only pumps air for a 2 or 3 seconds.... that cant be right either. its very uncomfortable. nothing like the comfort aire it replaced. the whole purpose of this mattress IS to be adjusted. like sleeping on a board !!!! LESSON LEARNED. i dealt with customer service at the beginning, but was sadly, very disappointed , to say the least. free sheets ( poor quality) doesnt fix a bad mattress. bad , scripted, customer service. next tax refund, new mattress, from ANYWHERE but personal comfort.

This is not even close to a typical experience. Our products are warrantied for 25 years so if there is EVER an issue like the one you describing, our customer service department can resolve it quickly.

Stay With Sleep Number

Personal Comfort has 6 service people and each time you call get a different story. We had a Sleep Number bed for over 18 yrs. far superior to Comfort bed service poor, still waiting for pump replacement . When we received the bed NO instructions included had to call three times finally received. Tech said watch video on line, what if I don't have computer told it was simple assembly. wife and I are 75 yrs.! Spend a little extra for satisfaction, no wonder rating is two stars! The air pump is not as efficient as other beds and makes weird noise when pumping up also pumps in various stages like if I want 30 on monitor is pumps stops and then pumps stops as if it doesn't know the requested setting. My pump in garage works better and knws the pressure I requested. I was also told you have to be lying down on bed to set digital number! David and Sondra Texas

We are sorry to hear this David. Air pumps do make noise and they take a couple minutes to fill up the air chambers.

But once filled and once you have found your sleep setting. The air pump should not cut on often.

Our air chamber hold air great. Again, we are sorry to hear this, and hopefully soon you will get to sleeping great.

Strong rubber smell

I bought this bed because I had a Sleep Number bed and was happy with it, but in my new home location there was no Sleep Number store nearby. The Personal Comfort was a bit less expensive and their online marketing seemed compelling.

I have had the bed for 4+ weeks and have never slept on it due to the strong rubber smell. I have set it outside for days at a time to "air out" but the smell does not seem to be weakening. This was not a problem at all with my Sleep Number bed.

I will not buy another Personal Comfort bed. I do not recommend others to buy a Personal Comfort bed, I do not believe the quality of the bed is superior to Sleep Number bed.

Did not receive what I ordered

I ordered a "split king" mattress. I received an XL twin. I was originally told that the split king was two twins and they would ship my other one. Then I received a call wanting to add another $120 to my charge card for the other mattress. I refused. The webpage shows a picture of two mattresses on the split king page. The cost is $175 plus $5. There is no indication that the cost if for one mattress. I paid $180 and they are refusing to send the other mattress. My order confirmation says split king and the packing slip says XL twin. They admit the webpage shows two mattresses, that I ordered a split king and that I received one twin but they refuse to complete my order.

We will absolutely allow this customer to return her air chamber. We'll even send her a shipping label.

This customer did not buy a "mattress", the customer purchased an air chamber for a competitors brand. The customer intention in purchasing this product is replacing her air chambers for her number bed from another manufacturer. We offer this product replacement as a courtesy as our competitors charge twice as much for their replacement chambers. The customer ordered what she thought was 2 air chambers but actually just 1 as evidenced by her invoice TW-XL Vulcanized Rubber Chamber Quantity 1.

(customer uploaded their receipt).- The customer purchased this online unaided by anyone from Personal Comfort.- Rarely do customers replace both chambers at the same time so we do include the option of a SPLIT KING size but there is only the option to order one.- From the screen shot the customer sent us, the heading says "SINGLE or DUAL" and it clearly says "SINGLE".Below are the specifications of the air chambers that are displayed below the pictures of the product on the web page the customer uploaded. We try to be as clear as possible using the words "PER CHAMBER".Twin - 67" x 30" x 5.5"Twin XL - 72" x 30" x 5.5"Full / Double - 67" x 46" x 5.5"Queen Single Sleeper - 71" x 51" x 5.5"Queen Dual (per chamber) - 72" x 26" x 5.5"King (per chamber) - 72" x 30" x 5.5"Cal King (per chamber - 76" x 32" x 5.5"Our web page shows what the customer should have chosen. Single = 1, Dual =2. The price is is increased by $120 with the second chamber added.

This is the offer that the customer refused.

Personal Comfort does pay the shipping charges and there are no taxes charged outside of Florida.If the customer would still like to order the 2nd chamber, We will authorize an exception reduce the price to $90 or half the price of original chamber, as an apology for creating confusion for for the customer. couldn’t adjust the bed except to soft it hits frame or too hard might as well sleep on floor. I wrote a review on another site on this bed only for the company to retaliate what I said was not fair or accurate. The words were twisted enough to make someone believe it. What a sham this company is. I will admit there was a time I did not contact them as life was too busy, but 3-4 emails were sent before a response. The last emails were always threatening with a lawyer to even get a response. By the way if you don’t like the bed. There’s a restock fee and they will not take the frame back at all. Spent 1500 got 900 back. You do the calculations of whether this is a worthy company or not.

So....I was on there web site thinking about ordering a bed from them. While I was thinking and waiting for a promo code a rep started chatting with me.

I told him I was waiting for a promo code he said I can help you, He said I will take 50.00 dollars off your order plus send you 2 Queen size pillows so I agreed to placing the order he was very nice. Well I received my bed a couple of weeks later I had 3 boxes opened all the boxes No pillows. I contacted the company to find out if they are being shipped separate, the first person didn't respond so I contacted them again and a woman responded she said she was going to check into it. Well she responded and said they oftered me 50 off but no pillows, I told her I had no reason to make this up to go through the chat session and she would find it.

She said they dont keep them but she believed me and the would send me the pillows.

Got home from work today to find a box from them....one pillow instead of 2. I have no complaint of the bed as of yet, but Iwill never order nor will I recommend this company to any one.

This could have a been a simple mistake of the agent not putting your pillows in the order.

Strong rubber odor lingers and returns took too long

Compared to Sleep Number functionability, theirs are almost on an equal scale BUT the exceptionally strong rubber odor lingers for more than 3 weeks after assembly. Not sure if this is healthy breathing this while asleep for that duration and longer if you keep the 2 twin bed set. A piece from the whole package was send wrongly but the waiting time for the correct one was quick. It seemed that there were not more than 2 customer service persons who are not thoroughly knowledgeable when an isolated problem comes up. When told that we want to return the bed sets, they ask that we continue to try them as the month's trial was not fulfilled. WHAT! We were breathing in rubber fumes, was that not enough reason! The return was a painstaking process of waiting of more than a month, continual calling to ask about the possible paperwork was annoying. Unbelievable!
