Breached Contract/Job Abandonment

Update by user Mar 07, 2012

Eddie Sanchez uses license #HR920550 for his contracting businesses. According to public record, he continues to use this number and has it post under his wife\'s name and his wife\'s maiden name, Ruth Espinoza.

This is highly peculiar.

We are warned by the BBB and legal counsel to avoid business with individuals that scheme, such as the individual named above. We are warned that individuals that use the name of others to hide, are hiding from taxes owed, business deals gone bad, judgements that we placed against them, etc..

Please note, do not do businees with this individual.

Eddie Sanchez is still avoiding our calls, e-mails, text messages, and his wife Ruth has refused to respond to the certified letters we mailed to her and her husband. We continue to gather evidence of Eddie avoiding us.

We urge all in the San Antonio area and surrounding cities/counties to avoid doing business with Eddie Sanchez. He claims to have done business with Home Depot or Lowe\'s as a cabinet refinisher in Madison Wisconsin. Eddie further told us that he has businesses in Corpus Cristi where he claimed to have family. He claims to have a warehouse in San Antonio, TX full of tools, and items needed for projects.

Yes, a warehouse! My husband and I made a bad choice and believed his stories. Eddie Sanchez robbed us of $10,000+items that he took from us that were necessary to complete the remodeling job.

If you see a grey/smokey/or silver colored Dodge Charger coming your way and the driver is Eddie Sanchez, do not give any of your monies! Save yourself, your money, and the unnessary stress of suing him!

We are still trying to make contact with Eddie Sanchez. We have discovered in our efforts that Eddie Sanchez (according to public record) has listed his contracting license number under his wife\'s name.

Our efforts in trying to reach his wife, also continue to go on unanswered. We also discovered that he has several addresses listed under his name. Last week, we received a response from one of the certified letters sent to him at a P.O.Box, in San Antonio, TX that the certified letter was received. We are in the process of suing him for the $900, oak doors, hinges, 36 pieces of glass for the glass cabinets, light fixtures, and house key he maliciously took from us.

Please note: avoid Eddie Sanchez and do not give him any monies up front.

He drives a smokey colored/silver colored/or grey looking Dodge Charger. He claims to have lived and held a business in the Madison, Wisconsin Area, and also the Corpus Christi area in Texas, he also travels to and from Del Rio, TX.

Peppercorn Construction and Stone Works, job done by Eddie Sanchez in San Antonio, TX. Eddie Sanchez created, and signed a contract that we agreed to on finances and design of our kitchen. Eddie Sanchez robbed us of our money and abandoned the job, taking with him an additional $900 that he claimed he needed for supplies. He vanished! I urge all in the San Antonio, TX area to avoid doing business with Eddie Sanchez. If you see a grey/silver/ smokey colored Dodge Charger with the driver being Eddie Sanchez, don't sign anything, he is a thief, and fraud.

Job abandonment by Eddie Sanchez, San Antonio

We hired Eddie Sanchez of Peppercorn Construction and Stone Work (San Antonio, TX) to upgrade our kitchen in December of 2010. We were quoted $10,967 for the job which was to take one month to complete. At the end of January, work stopped through March, at which time Eddie came back and worked for 6 half days. In June, he returned to complete the job only to ask for the remaining balance due to him to be provided immediately. We had previously agreed through a written contract that the remaining balance would be provided once the job was completed. Eddie took two cabinet doors and said he would return when the hinges he ordered arrived. It is now almost January 2012 and we haven't heard from him. We emailed him, left voice messages, text messages. We even mailed him letters, including certified demand letters which come back as refused and unanswered. We investigated his license HR920550 and found that it is under his wife's maiden name, Ruth Espinoza, which is highly suspicious. Upon trying to locate Mr. Sanchez, we discovered several different addresses for him, with different zip codes that do not match the addressed provided. Do not under any circumstances hire Eddie Sanchez to do any type of work for you.
