My wife does not make enough each paycheck to show a back-to-back charge for insurance so we are paying out of pocket. How do I get reimbursed if I can't show the full amount on her pay stubs
My wife does not make enough per pay period to show the full amount of the premium taken out of her checks for two consecutive checks. The rest we have to pay out of pocket. How do we get reimbursed for this

Verified ReviewerThey are later every month. They cannot read submitted docs in correct format. They are curt and impertinent.
I am subject to the way over strenuous sifting of this company in getting reimbursed for legitimate medical expenses. it is not even their money.
I submit details in .jpg format that they require and they cannot read them. They refuse to approve when I sent ALL the details I have from doctors and billing, saying it is insufficient. Even the IRS accepts on a more basic level. I spend about 1/2 day every month trying to get my legitimate reimbursements.
It is so complex that it has been impossible to receive mileage reimbursement over 4,000 miles driving to medical appointments in 2023.
I gave up and mad my employer reduce my amount for 2024 because of the difficulty. Now, in 2024 I will have a larger taxable income because of this company's insane way of grinding me down with impossible details when my time would be better spent working for my employer than attempting to comply with submission requirements of a pass-through group[ who merely approves the reimbursement.

This company is fast to sign you up and set up automatic payments but dont hold your breath if you have any type of question or issue. I have tried to get questions answered to finish out W2s for the year for the past 3 weeks.
They do not offer a phone number to call on the website but found the number here. when you do call it puts you on hold then forwards to a voicemail. Chat is active at random times.
Its 2pm on a Friday now and its outside of chat hours, Ive scheduled a return call twice, which happens to be a few days out every time, but no one ever calls at the scheduled call times. I will spend my vacation next week looking for a new company for 2024.

Reimbursement
I enter the wrong service date on the first reimbursement. I recent a second one, and they are both still showing waiting for review.
Don't Do It
If I could give them a zero I would. This company has been a nightmare for our company.
Medical receipts are returned when all the requested information is on them. It's extremely time consuming and frustrating for our staff.
Their turn around time is horrible too. We are currently ending our contract with them and going with a PEO.

They dropped our coverage and then couldn't seem to fix this issue for weeks. Though this was an error on their part.

Massive bugs in latest release
Peoplekeep aka Zanebenefits has for years been on the forefront as a top notch HRA benefits third party administrator. Unfortunately their latest releases this year are full of bugs that appear to have corrupted our payroll data.
While they have a slick zendesk helpdesk interface, you have no way of reaching a person quickly via phone. They only allow you to talk with support via chat but they've shut that down for some reason. Since they are tied into one of the most important processes in any company (payroll) they should have some way of quickly escalating major bugs and keeping customers in the loop.
Their most recent bug highlighted data corruption going back to March and now requires doing manual updates to fix the amounts they are showing due to the employees. we rely on an outside payroll provider to process payroll for us and that provider relies on accurate data coming from the peoplekeep system.
