Not enough hrs

Jimmy Johns #1712350
The simplest solution is to learn and memorize everything the place sells so you know what they sell. Then, find a second---and even a third job if you aren't getting enough hours at the other jobs. Complaining of a lack of hours here does not bring money into your pocket---working at least 40 hours a week at how many jobs you need to get to that point is the solution.

Walgreens #1712311
This is the new thing to intimidate customers who smoke or buy liquor, etc. Best to not shop at these places. Management is also afraid of selling these age-limited products to a minor and getting caught---thus the stupidity of "carding" granny or gramps because their employees can't figure out they should ask for ID for people who don't look 18 or 21. Walgreen's is apparently going one step further and demanding a copy of your driver's license----rather dangerous, wouldn't you think? But, apparently Walgreen cares little for your privacy and risk of stolen identification.

Go to their website at "cooksillustrated.com" and in the upper right corner click on "magazine" and on the left side of the screen will be a "contact customer service" link to click on which will lead you to a page with various options concerning your subscription, etc. There should be a page under "cancel sub" so you can access your account and from there to cancel the sub. This auto renewal scam is now rather prevalent among magazines as a means to keep the subscriptions coming---especially when/if people use a credit card to subscribe---they got you and count on people not noticing the charge on their credit card----or, worse if you used a debit card! Good luck with canceling. If you have a problem cancelling online, just don't pay the bill and they will cancel it themselves when they don't get paid.

Bad experience

Oscar Mayer #1711890
Always best to check the "best by" or "sell by" printed on all food items nowadays, especially anything refrigerated or frozen. This is because stores don't always pull the soon-to-be expired products off the display and continue to sell them past their good date and also because employees tend to load up large carts full of refrigerated/frozen items, park it in the general area of where they are stocked and then leave it defrosting for long periods of time. This checking the dates is only one indicator of the freshness of products and, in your case you should have returned the items to the store for a refund. This is why keeping all receipts for a few days is a good idea. You can also contact Oscar Mayer at their website and they may send you a coupon. I would place the blame on the store you bought the product from rather than Oscar Mayer, tho.

Your option(s) in this case are to contact corporate and complain and request they fix your car---I assume you still have the receipt for the gas you bought which shows the location, time, etc. If they decline, then small claims court may be of help. If your car is new as you said and under warranty, have the dealership service dept. do an analysis of the petrol in your tank---they will send it out for this---and see what the problem is. You would need this if you pursue legal action and will need to pay the dealership for this as it is not covered by warranty. Good luck.

It is somewhat expensive in most stores, altho Ollie's has it often for a cheap price compared to local grocery stores. PROBLEM WITH CHARGES

DOORDASH #1711447
You probably need to do two things: 1. stop using a debit card as they are a very dangerous way of paying for anything. A credit card is safer as you don't have to pay till after you get the monthly statement and 2. perhaps it's time to train your girlfriend to make meals at home instead of ordering out and wasting alot of money. Buying food at a grocery store and preparing it at home is certainly much cheaper and you can enjoy the taste of real, homemade food prepared by your paramour.

Kroger #1711440
Take a look at the packaging and see where the lids are manufactured. I suspect they are i some foreign land, eg., Thailand, China or other far east locale. If so, then perhaps the manufacturer misunderstood the specifications from Kroger and, instead of making the lids to fit American cat food products, they instead dusted off an old lid product that only will fit Asian felines---and, as we all know, the cats in Asia tend to be much larger, thus requiring larger portions and cans than we find here in North America. Or, you can just stop purchasing the lids and cover opened cat food cans with some plastic wrap. Just a thought.

You should read the contract you signed with them or the printed terms and conditions in the information packet you received. You will then be able to see if you are locked in for a specific time period whether you sell the home or not. Your problem originated with you giving them access to your bank account either via auto withdrawal of premiums direct from your bank or gave them your debit card info. You are not really locked into paying each month if you cancel out the bank account, request a new debit card account or otherwise make it impossible for them to just take your money. They may report your account as being in default, etc., but a small hit on your credit score may be a negligible problem compared to them taking money each month from you. Big O Tires #1711431
A not atypical scam charge for the oil, filter and labor charge on top of the basic oil change charge of $39.99 plus one quart of synthetic oil---altho $10 a quart is rather excessive. These additional charges are nothing but scam charges as stated. After decades of changing my own oil I now go to my dealership which has a separate "quick lube" site and pay $35 for 5 quarts of oil---none of those disposal fees and labor charges. And, the guys there are all experienced and do a great, fast job of checking the fluids, etc. I always get out of my vehicle and observe them at work so I know what they do. You might see if the dealer you bought the vehicle from has one of these things. They make them separate from the dealership service place in order to not tie up the service dept. with normal oil changes, etc. A good idea. Ah! Good 'ole Meijer. We have now stopped buying much of anything from them for a number of reasons, but their lack of open checkout lanes got so bad that we would just up and leave a half or full cart of groceries in some aisle because they only had one lane open on most mornings, especially Sundays. That, and the fact that they apparently do not stock the stores at night when there is less traffic, but wait until morning and then block the aisles with large pallets of groceries awaiting someone to stock the shelves; leaving large carts full of frozen products in the aisles for who-knows-how-long to partially defrost. Their website is really on a par with Spectrum's as far as reliability of access, eg., MPerks and pharmacy----not well done and apparently created by computer programmers of mediocre talent----perhaps they work cheaper than more qualified ones. Sign prices and actual price

AutoZone #1707558
Most retail stores will honor the sign or label price if their personnel have failed to remove the sale sign. That's because most people either do not or cannot read the beginning and end dates in small print on the sign. The problem of inaccurate prices being scanned at places like Meijer, Walmart, etc. seems to be getting more common. This is due to, in my state no actual price sticker on items anymore and store personnel failing to either change the label/signs displaying a price or their personnel failing to scan the price into the store's computer system---again, Meijer is notorious for this deceptive practice. Nowadays, as a matter of course it is imperative that customers watch carefully while items are being scanned to ensure you are not over-charged. I now tell cashiers to wait until I have unloaded my cart and then they can start scanning---slowly so I can verify the price being charged. Stores are seemingly competing to see who can scam more customers.

You are over-reacting. All popcorn, whether in a microwave bag, your own popcorn popped in a plain paper lunchbag or in anything else is dependent upon many things, including the moisture in the home or container the popcorn is in; the age of the popcorn kernels; the wattage of the microwave if you use that method; and the oil---preferably coconut oil, of course for the real popped corn experience. To expect Pop Weaver to give you free bags because, all of a sudden some of their bags didn't pop well is expecting too much. You might look at the bags or on the box for the "good by" or "best by" date and see if it is getting close to the end date.
