Charter/spectrum is a RIP OFF

Charter Communications #1216437
The only service you should ever get from Charter is their cable internet---it is far better than most others and reliable in most, but not all areas. The best thing to do is use your cable internet to stream any and all television and movies direct to your telly. Get a Roku box for a hundred bucks and go from there.

Prestige Portraits #1216432
Buying school pictures thru the school's recommended vendor is a big mistake---as you found out. Remember, not only must the portrait studio make a profit, but they also have to kick back money to the school, thus the high cost. As you said, just go to a local one on your own. Or, take the child's photo with your handy digital camera in your backyard.

Don't buy tires at Wal-mart

Walmart #1216224
First of all, they cannot "put a patch" on a sidewall puncture. They can only patch or plug a puncture in the thread area of a tire. Secondly, be aware that tires purchased at Walmart, no matter what brand are NOT the same quality as those bought at a brand name tire store, eg., Goodyear. Tires sold at Walmart are made to Walmart's specs and are of lower quality as the tires manufactured to be sold at the brand's stores. That being said, you have to cause for complaint as no tire repair could be done to your tire. The only option was to buy a new tire. It is what it is.

As you said, this sometimes happens when you buy online. Next time go to the store and look at them first. I buy almost nothing online unless I have personally inspected it in a store. Now that Michigan wants to tax me for sure on internet sales and the local stores were in favor of this scam I do not feel guilty about looking at something in a store and then buying it elsewhere online. Sirius Xm Radio #1214098
Now you know the dangers of "automatic renewal." This applies to services like Sirius, magazine subscriptions, etc. and includes things companies like to call "auto pay" or something like it where your phone bill, for example is automatically paid from your bank account each month. Same goes for "paperless" billing. Always have a paper statement sent to you via the mail and then pay it once you verify the charges. As for Sirius, specifically---from my experience they are nothing but scam artists.
