Unauthorized Payment

Dollar Shave Club #1730651
This outfit is but another "free trial" starter gambit with auto enrollment for subsequent shipments unless you cancel in some time period. Looking at the Dollar Shave Club website I see they charge $10 for the initial sample of goods and then actually will tell you the date the normal shipment of the product(s) will be and the amount. Somewhere along the line, you apparently failed to actually read what you were signing up for. You can cancel at any time(so they say) so you had best take another look at this site and find out how to cancel further shipments, etc. Gotta read the fine print, mate!

Contact the hotel and tell them you definitely were not smoking and that their charge is erroneous and you want an immediate credit for the charge issued. If they refuse, dispute the charge with your card company. If your dispute is denied, then take a look at this link which explains what to do next: https://www.highya.com/articles-guides/your-complete-guide-on-disputing-credit-card-charges. You can also do some more research into what legal action to take, etc. But, the bottom line: never pay for something you know you do not owe. This includes a fraudulent credit card charge.

Poor customer service of inferior product and treatment

Aspen Dental #1730238
Aspen makes alot of money from teeth cleaning, and even more when they tell the patient he needs a "deep cleaning." Since this "deep cleaning" is usually recommended for those with gum or periodontal disease it is not a common procedure. As to your complaint: find a local dentist and pay him for an exam and have him take a good look at the loose crown and re-glue it if all looks ok. Given that Aspen made the crown, I would want to make sure it is of good quality and in good condition. Then, become a patient of the local doctor instead of going to a place like Aspen.

Oil Change

Mr Tire #1730132
Sounds like you got lucky by noticing the puddle of oil beneath the vehicle. Not tightening the oil plug correctly or the oil filter is a common mistake by those who change your oil. I always do my own oil and filter change, but warn those I know who pay for this, especially at a fast oil change joint to always, always check the filter and plug to see if it tight before pulling into traffic from the oil change place. A quick scoot under the vehicle to hand check the filter and oil plug will suffice until you get home. You are lucky the plug didn't blow out while driving. Many dealerships now have their own "fast oil change" additions and I would trust one owned by a dealership over any others.

Worst customer service ever!

Walmart #1729569
I know you are upset, but don't blame Walmart unless you think Walmart should keep their cards securely behind a glass enclosure until you buy it and it is activated by the cashier. Thieves go thru a store and use a scanner to obtain the codes on the back of all kinds of gift cards and then load them into a computer program which checks to see if the cards the thief scanned is activated. As soon as one is activated, the thieves strike and take the money. This is what happened to you. On Walmart's side, they don't know who used the card and thus disclaim any responsibility. Having all those gift cards on display in stores is an open invitation to thieves to steal their data and eventually deplete the balances. Best to avoid gift cards, actually. Send someone a check or a fifty dollar bill as a gift.

This happens, but usually not for some time. You can buy replacement stickers and other items for the keyboard at places like Amazon.com. Just do a search for "laptop keyboard letters replacement stickers." On Amazon they cost something around $7.00. Don't try painting the keys as it will just wear off quickly. Bad Bad all of them about honoring coupons and sales items

Kroger #1728853
It sounds like a systemic Kroger problem as the same thing happens in my area--the midwest. Kroger has the most confusing way of showing the sales off amounts on items---they show up at the very end, just before you pay but if you question something, the cashier cannot back up the monitor screen to show you it came off but has to read it on HER screen to you. Bottom line is that with Kroger---and all other stores you have to pay very close attention to the prices as they are scanned as the big scam nowadays is prices not scanning correctly with the customer not being the wiser. I always tell the cashier to wait till I finish unloading onto the belt so I can watch and verify the scan is correct and if there is a problem, I don't let the backup of the lane bother me. Not my problem. It's my money.

They now sell cheap and really juvenile junk clothes for a high price. We used to buy all our family's clothes at Meijer, but haven't done so in years now. It is only getting worse. They seem to be appealing to teenagers, not normal people. They apparently no longer sell dress shirts or even ties! Despite their decline in clothing we still shopped there until we discovered how they were scamming shoppers at the checkouts, ie., scanned prices different(higher)than the price labeled on the shelves. There was a reason the cashiers rushed to scan your items before you were ready to watch and verify the price being scanned and that, combined with the lack of adequate open lanes at most times during the day has caused us to now shop elsewhere for just about everything. Where once we shopped in Meijer 4-5 times a week, we now haven't done so in at least three months---and don't miss the hassle. Kroger, a couple of small grocery stores in the area and, dare I say it Walmart is much better. The new Meijer is no longer a good place to shop.

Camping World #1726465
Depends on how and where the product was "clearly marked" as you say. If it had a price sticker on it, then you are correct. If it was on a shelf and there was a price label on the shelf, you needed to read the price label and see what the product was it said was $10.35. People pick up items all the time and then place them in a different location on shelves for unsuspecting customers to think that product is one price but it really isn't and doesn't belong there. Any store that relies on price scanning to ring up purchases is suspect and you need to watch carefully as each thing is scanned. Most people do not and are being scammed royally. It's easier to watch and verify if you are with someone who can unload while you watch, eagle-eye how much you are being charged. Those who allow the cashier to begin scanning while you are still unloading will be scammed more often than not. Both Meijer's and Walmart are notorious for errors in their price scanning, so be careful out there.

"Culver's frozen dairy dessert" says it all. This product is not "real" ice cream but a concoction of many artificial ingredients to make the product taste creamy and delicious like real ice cream. In your particular case, I suspect Culver's mixes this stuff in something like a large blending machine and serves it. They just haven't mixed the various ingredients well. Someone has been asleep at the switch for awhile, it seems. The problem nowadays is that even major brands like Breyer's is going to this stuff---where once they sold actual(by FDA standards)ice cream they now produce and label what appears to be a container of ice cream as "frozen dairy dessert." Take a look in the freezer aisle and read the labels. If it is labeled ice cream them it is the real McCoy. If anything different, then it is junk misrepresenting itself as ice cream to those who know not what they are really buying. As an aside, Kroger's Private Selection ice cream is on sale often and is rather good.
