You can probably sue in small claims court. Amazon should have your order still on file if you check out your orders---they keep a record of all of them over the years. Oh! The horror of it all---when McDonald's started the fast food industry people were surprised and happy to have a place where the family could just drive up, get out of their jalopy and get a hamburger for 15 cents along with fries, etc. What a concept. Saved time and you didn't have to wait in a cafe or restaurant while they prepared your food. From that we have now descended to people far too lazy to get out of their car and need a drive-thru to order to the latest offering of McDonald's actually delivering the fast food to those far too "busy" or without a range, microwave or food itself in the house. In your case, a microwave would heat up the burgers. You can find directions on how to use this nifty machine online.

Companies, especially cable and cell phone companies are very quick to write off what they claim to be unpaid debts and turn them over to a collection agency. Very well documented and written. Good job. A couple of observations: 1. Paying over 4K for repairs to an over 12 years old Ford Escape and on which you only owe $2500 was a mistake. Hindsight is wonderful, but what you should have done was not have the work done to begin with and had it towed directly to the Ford dealership for a diagnosis, etc. and if it was to cost over the $2500 you owed on it, just talk to the new car sales dept and trade it in for a new car. Or, even a good used car. 2. Not sure why people would think a place that sells tires and does minor repairs would have the ability to diagnose and fix the problems you described. Dealers do these kinds of complicated repairs. However, not all is lost and you have learned a valuable lesson in the area of vehicle repairs.

Suggestion

Frito Lay #1731584
Have you noticed any resealable bags on any brand's potato chips, corn chips, etc lately? No, they are few and far between, if any. The reason is rather obvious. In the case of Fritos the plastic-coated bags need to be opened with a scissors cut across the top or else the bag will rip open making a good seal impossible. If done correctly with a scissors you can use a chip clip found in dollar stores to make a fairly good seal. This will keep the Fritos stay fresh for awhile. Or, you can just open the bag and use a gallon zipper lock plastic bag and dump the Fritos into it and make a good seal. Fritos and other brands won't produce their products with a convenient resealable bag because they know that after the bag is opened the chips go stale much faster and thus they can sell you more Fritos. I like Fritos, and given the sad state of most potato chips nowadays taste-wise, they are a good snack. Apparently, the government mandated certain oils be used in the potato chip manufacturing process and thus ruined everything.

If you return the bad disk that day and Netflix gets it the next day, the odds are Netflix will take the bad disk they got from you and just send it out to replace the one you returned as bad even tho they are actually just sending out you bad disk again. Apparently, Netflix hasn't figured out how to actually inspect the disks they get and take them out of circulation. This nonsense has happened to me a couple of times over the years. The solution is to report the disk as bad but then wait a couple of days to return the bad one. Your replacement disk will be sent the next day---you can check and ensure it has been sent online and then send back the bad one. When you report one as bad they just send another the next day so if you wait a couple of days to return it you won't get your original bad one back. Sorry about the convoluted explanation. As soon as one is activated, the thieves strike and take the money. This is what happened to you. On Walmart's side, they don't know who used the card and thus disclaim any responsibility.
