Your wait time seems to be rather long, we agree. However, unless you are one of those unwise motorists who purchased a car without a spare tire, this experience may convince you to learn how to change a tire for the future. Changing a tire was among the first things we taught our children to do as they grew up. When they got their license, they knew how to do it and were not caught unaware---or just sitting along side some road waiting for someone to help them. If you are almost out of petrol, it would appear you are sitting in your car with the A/C on. Best to turn the car off and save the petrol. And, of course you might want to drop Allstate road assistance and go with AAA. At the same time, check out AAA insurance rates on the car. You might be surprised at their rates over Allstate's.

Less chips in bag

Lays #1744157
The reason, I believe I remember from my days working at a potato chip company part time a long time ago is that the chip bag is filled at the plant by weight, not bulk and the chips will settle in the bag over time or by the time they get to the store for sale. It may appear you only have half a bag, but the weight of the chips should be the correct amount listed on the bag. Some chip companies apparently now "fluff up" their bags at the plant with air or some other gas/air combination so as to make the bag appear full nowadays. Perhaps the bag you purchased didn't get the "puff up" treatment. You can weigh any bag prior to eating the chips to see if it was properly filled up with chips. As an aside, Lays has some nice-looking chips and they must use the best potatoes but as far as potato chips go, taste-wise they are rather run of the mill. Ever since the government got involved in the types/kinds of oils used it has become almost impossible to find a brand with good old fashioned chips that taste good.

Popcorn, especially microwave does get stale and pop unevenly the longer it sits on the shelf or from the production date. Unless clearly labeled differently, eg., white popcorn microwave popcorn is really just yellow popcorn and as a rule has many more hulls after popping than does white. For a good popcorn, you might try buying most brands of white popcorn in a 2 pound bag and popping it in an electric popcorn popper with some coconut oil or corn oil. Mail in rebates?

Menards #1741479
Well, Menard's isn't going to allow you to claim the rebate online. They make far too much money off of people who never take the time to fill out the claim form and then spend money for a stamp, only to then wait a few weeks for a very small rebate only good in a Menard's store. Their rebates are seemingly at least once or twice a month now and people do not realize that they are really not getting much of a deal if they buy only a few dollars worth of goods and then get 11% back. On a hundred dollars, that's only $11, less the stamp and then only if you use it in a Menard's store. For big ticket items, maybe a deal. For most shoppers, no at all. This week they have another 11% rebate going on. Most items in the store are regular price and getting a rebate for 11% on normal goods is not a deal at all. For example: Signature bird seed was on sale a couple of weeks ago for $16.99 or so. The regular price is $24.99, I believe. Thus, getting 11% off this week is stupid. Best to ignore their rebate "sales" and just shop when things you need are actually on sale.
