Find another brand or do the better thing: make your own chili so you know exactly what is going into it.

Oil change

After a lifetime of changing my own oil and filters on vehicles the Chevy dealerships in my town offered two years of free oil changes and as I had looked at the placement, etc. of the oil and filter areas prior to handing over my money for my Traverse I took them up on the offer. This Chevy dealer has his own three bank oil/lube/tire changing site next to the dealership and the guys are really great--professional and they know what they are doing. I have since bought another Chevy model in addition to the Traverse and they do just as well with that one. I pay $35 for an oil and filter change and, considering the problems with changing a Traverse's oil and filter consider that a good deal---these old bones are not the same as when younger. In your situational complaint, you need to complain to the service manager and if you get the brush-off or it happens again, wander in to the dealership manager and complain to the head honcho.

Ah! Good 'ole Meijer. We have now stopped buying much of anything from them for a number of reasons, but their lack of open checkout lanes got so bad that we would just up and leave a half or full cart of groceries in some aisle because they only had one lane open on most mornings, especially Sundays. That, and the fact that they apparently do not stock the stores at night when there is less traffic, but wait until morning and then block the aisles with large pallets of groceries awaiting someone to stock the shelves; leaving large carts full of frozen products in the aisles for who-knows-how-long to partially defrost. Their website is really on a par with Spectrum's as far as reliability of access, eg., MPerks and pharmacy----not well done and apparently created by computer programmers of mediocre talent----perhaps they work cheaper than more qualified ones. All in all, Kroger and, yes Walmart now have our business and what a change! Kroger has a very good digital coupon site and on Fridays and Saturdays have specials which work out great cost-wise. Even Walmart now has more open lanes than Meijer.

Remember the old army term "fubar?" This is the state Sprint has been in for the last few years. Your situation is reminiscent of the problems we had with Sprint. They never acknowledge their mistakes and seemingly now make it a matter of course to send customer phone calls to some foreign land with reps who are unable to speak, much less really understand the English language. At one time, many years ago when calling Sprint we would get somebody in another US state to whom speaking and understanding what you were saying came as a matter of course. After our experience with Sprint and their demands for money for which they were unable to explain the "why" we have been with Verizon with no problems, at least not yet. The bills and phone calls from Sprint demanding payment for something we knew we did not owe were thrown in the trash, etc. and never paid---it's the principle of the thing. We still have excellent credit, so it didn't harm us. Remember, never pay for something you know you don't owe. Find another cell phone carrier, now.

WDW has changed their ride system and, unless you are willing to wait hours for a ride you are out of luck on most rides. We stopped going when they changed their "fast pass" system and went to reserving rides. Since you have a young child, a much better and educational thing to do would be to get in the car and drive to the many national parks, monument, etc. in your region or do it a better way and take a week to ten days and travel out west to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, etc. Much cheaper in the long run for what you get and much less frustration on your part.

Sounds like the "free trial" you fell for also comes with an automatic subscription or monthly delivery to you of their products. You apparently failed to notice that in the fine print. They will keep charging and sending you this stuff until you cancel or contact your card issuer and tell them what happened. They can either put a stop to any further charges from the company or just cancel your card and issue a new one with different numbers so Dermalife cannot charge you. This is a common scam and many people don't cancel within the time frame and then wonder why they are being charged. Just be glad you didn't use a debit card!

Publix can then go back to Fresh Express for any loss they have in re-compensing you for the chipped tooth if they want. The people who answer the phones have no idea, nor do their managers because they did not change the format description---their computer programmers did the deed for some reason. You need to keep kicking this up the chain of command until you find someone who can and will query the programmers as to why they did the change and who authorized the change(s). This change didn't happen for no good reason, someone told them to make the changes----for some reason. They need to know not only that you are rather unhappy with the change but this adversely affects your record-keeping. Good luck. You might find a different bank better at this.

Not sure why you would end up paying for "a job half-done"with no avenue for recourse. Perhaps you paid them in full prior to installation? If so, big mistake. You may be able to sue Lowe's in small claims court. Check it out. Lowe's will deny any liability as they didn't make the windows nor do they employ the installer---they are sub-contractors used by Lowe's for these jobs and are supposed to carry their own insurance, etc. When you go to a big box store and have construction work done, be aware that the big box store will try to ignore your problems and deny any culpability, blaming the sub or the manufacturer. Check out the small claims court filing. They have a maximum dollar limit, depending on your state.

Most retail stores will honor the sign or label price if their personnel have failed to remove the sale sign. That's because most people either do not or cannot read the beginning and end dates in small print on the sign. The problem of inaccurate prices being scanned at places like Meijer, Walmart, etc. seems to be getting more common. This is due to, in my state no actual price sticker on items anymore and store personnel failing to either change the label/signs displaying a price or their personnel failing to scan the price into the store's computer system---again, Meijer is notorious for this deceptive practice. Nowadays, as a matter of course it is imperative that customers watch carefully while items are being scanned to ensure you are not over-charged. I now tell cashiers to wait until I have unloaded my cart and then they can start scanning---slowly so I can verify the price being charged. Stores are seemingly competing to see who can scam more customers.

You didn't mention whether or not you contacted the company to find out when you would get a refund. Best do that first instead of just waiting for it. As a reminder, now you know why signing up for or allowing any company to just take monies from your bank account is a terrible and unsafe idea. For some reason, most foods nowadays will warn people if their product contains peanut products. Apparently, presumed peanut allergies are now all the rage and according to studies can be caused by parents not feeding young children peanuts. Children of a young age apparently need to build up some sort of "immunity" or tolerance to peanuts if they are predisposed to an allergic effect as they grow older. In your case, however don't necessarily blame the soup. You might ask the boy what else he ate that day or that you fed him. It probably wasn't the soup.

Popped bags only half full of product

You are over-reacting. All popcorn, whether in a microwave bag, your own popcorn popped in a plain paper lunchbag or in anything else is dependent upon many things, including the moisture in the home or container the popcorn is in; the age of the popcorn kernels; the wattage of the microwave if you use that method; and the oil---preferably coconut oil, of course for the real popped corn experience. To expect Pop Weaver to give you free bags because, all of a sudden some of their bags didn't pop well is expecting too much. You might look at the bags or on the box for the "good by" or "best by" date and see if it is getting close to the end date. If you like the taste of Pop Weaver then it it because of the oil(s) they use plus any artificial flavorings they use. I, personally don't like it but, if I have to eat microwave popcorn I will use Pop Secret Homestyle. I can eat that ok but most of the time I pop white, Japanese hull-less in my electric popper with coconut oil and then top it off with butter and sometimes some bacon grease. This is real popcorn, not some combination of odd oils and artificial ingredients and coloring. Try it.

Apparently, this kind of food is made with bread dough or so-called pizza dough found in supermarkets and all you do is add whatever condiments you prefer and then bake it in the oven. Sounds like you actually know the mailman's name---Mark---which means you can and should complain to the USPS, but definitely not direct to them but through your congressman who can do so directly to the USPS which carries more weight than if you complain the the post office. In my experience, even if they actually answer the telephone complaining about a mailman does nothing as they file your complaint in the "circular file." If a congressman complains on your behalf they must answer him, not ignore him. Bad mailmen are a fact of life nowadays given the apparent lax standards required to be hired by the USPS. From your video, the problem is either the load of clothes or whatever you have in the washer causing an out of balance which will create a vibration or there indeed may be a mechanical problem such as the agitator being out of balance or incorrectly positioned in the machine causing the problem. A technician needs to inspect the agitator itself to see if it is correctly placed in the machine and if so, then witness the machine with a load of clothes. I bought a package of four of those things a few years ago and happen to have a charger that charges most batteries, including lithium----important to note that your charger will tell you which type of batteries it charges. Homeowners like to think that when something breaks they just have to pick up the phone, call AHS and all will be right with the problem lickity-split. That's not the case and your situation sums it up very well. People would be much better off by not contracting with these home warranty companies and just saving the monthly premiums to pay for a plumber, electrician, etc. on their own. In your case, I suspect that your A/C would now be up and running had you called a local plumbing& heating company in your area to fix it. AHS, etal. apparently do not hire the best and the brightest repair people to fix things in your home but an independent, say pluming company in your area will usually be much more competent and reliable, etc. Bottom line: don't waste your money on these home warranty things.

Once you get the correct agency, call them and file a complaint against this station and ask them to check out the situation you encountered. All in all, not nice. As for the non-working radio there must be a number to call listed in the information brochures or letter you got when you first subscribed. Look in the folder you made at the time labelled "Sirius XM" and where you keep all info and such about this----like you do with any and all recurring services, bills, etc. so you have the info available easily. If you had purchased it from a dealer and also the sunscreen he would have made good on what they sell. As for the quality of the tractor, yes they have been "cheapening" them for years now but the brand John Deere is still the best in the business and, if you buy direct from a dealer you will get satisfaction when anything goes wrong with it. These products claim to protect and/or repair the tooth enamel, etc. Whenever you use a new product you need to immediately stop use if you even suspect it is causing a problem. Now you know not to buy that version of Sensodyne. The active ingredient in these sensitive toothpastes is potassium nitrate usually around 5% concentrate. Many cheaper brands contain this and are store brands, etc. and labeled for sensitive teeth. At this point, you might want to buy a tube of something like Tom's of Maine without fluoride and use while your mouth heals. That brand has many flavors and some come with fluoride, so pay attention to the box before you buy one. I say to get one without fluoride as you do not want any possibility of further inflammation

A couple of observations and hints: 1. when a retail store has but one lane open with a long line of people with full carts and the self-serve registers full you need to push your cart off to the side and walk out. They will eventually find the cart and put the stuff back on the shelves---unless the ice cream and frozen stuff has defrosted. If so, that's their penance for not having enough lanes open. 2. a helpful hint on buying most anything is to read the label or packaging to determine if the product is not approaching or has passed the "best by" or "expiration date" listed somewhere. Remember, the guys that stock the shelves always are told to put the soon to be outdated stuff in front. You need to look in the back or on the bottom of the shelves for the newer stuff. Your complaint about the lack of lanes at Kroger is spot-on, however and seems to be a trend with other stores as well---Meijer stores in my area.
