Repeated non delivery when out for delivery.

Fedex #1753779
Well, actually the normal practice for most homeowners is to regularly use the back door, not the front. Only novice or non-thinking delivery people would put a package on the front door as it may sit there for days before anyone notices it. The USPS does this regularly, which should tell you something of the caliber of it's employees.

Package Deliveries

Amazon #1753776
Amazon's "guaranteed delivery" is not to be taken literally as they must rely on the various delivery companies to actually deliver the package timely. When they use the USPS you can never be sure it will come as stated or even if they use UPS or FedEx these companies may deliver to the local post office and then rely on the post office to make the final delivery. If you are lucky and UPS or FedEx will themselves deliver to your door it will almost always be within the guaranteed delivery date. Whenever you get the USPS involve, things tend to go awry due to the unreliability of the post office. When your package is not delivered by the guaranteed date, Amazon does nothing for you, of course as this "guaranteed delivery" slogan is but a scam---a marketing slogan at best.

Deck Over is rotten

Behr #1753774
I've seen many complaints about this Behr product over the past couple of years. Not too sure what, exactly you want Behr to do other than offer to replace the product. They have no idea how you prepared the deck for application nor what environmental and/or structural/landscape conditions you have. The problems you describe are usually caused by moisture invasion of the deck, either from the ground or otherwise. In a situation such as yours I would hire someone to take off the bad finish and prepare it for a new application, but use a different brand and see what happens in the next few years. If you get the same results you will know the product most likely is not at fault but something else.

Dangerous life threatening malfunction of new tractor 3 point hitch non-standard 3 point hitch assembly on a totally NEW JOHN DEERE TRACTOR

John Deere #1752100
I suspect that the JD dealer read the warranty conditions to mean that with the "upgraded" hitch the warranty wouldn't apply as it was something that came "extra" or non-standard. You contacting corporate and them apparently agreeing to do what you want and authorizing the dealer to fix the problem should do the trick---we hope. I have had alot of experience over the decades with JD equipment starting as a child when my father had a JD dealership. The problem you describe could have been handled alot better by the dealer in the interest of keeping a customer, but then things have changed-----most of the dealerships in my area are now gone at the insistence of JD and now we have a very few large dealerships covering large areas instead of small ones in many towns. My feeling is that the dealer should have taken care of your complaints quickly instead of jerking you around. But then, I still remember "John Deere Days" as a kid. Things have changed.

Mavis Discount Tire #1752091
The dealer replaced the bulb because nowadays most cars have easily changeable bulbs unlike years ago. Mavis Discount Tire was charging you for an hour's labor because anytime they charge labor they charge on an hourly basis and any part of an hour costs you an hour's labor charge. That would be my guess, not that they were trying to take advantage of you. Many places do this. A dealer will change it for the cost of the bulb as not only is it easy to do but they want you to come back to them to buy a car in the future, etc. A couple of months ago I noticed a car in a store parking lot with one headlight not working. I told her and she had known it for a couple of months but in talking to friends, etc. they all said it was difficult and complicated so she hadn't gotten it fixed. I told her to read her car manual to see just how difficult or easy it was. She hadn't thought about doing that. Sears #1752088
Just a thought, but have you calculated all the money you have spent over the years on warranties for the fridge and washer as opposed to the actual repairs, if any you have had done on them? I suspect you would be much better off not paying money for warranties but socking the monthly payments away to use for needed repairs, if any. Bottom line is that, if you buy a basic, no-frills washer and fridge you can get them repaired under warranty and when that ends and any repair would be expensive, just buy a new one and toss the bad one. Best to never buy anything in a grocery store unless you can read the date and it is far enough away to keep at home for a while. Sheer lunacy, but people still shop there. It can't be because of the reliable, knowledgeable and courteous employees as these people are rarely found at Walmart. Best to shop elsewhere, even if you have to pay a few cents more for something you need. You can do better by watching the weekly sales at other stores and taking advantage of their sales, which are usually less than what Walmart charges. Extended warranty

Best Buy #1750372
I don't believe you "had to" purchase a new warranty. They were giving you a new telly to replace the old one which was under warranty. Whether or not you wanted a warranty on the new one was up to you. The original warranty you paid for was for one specific brand and model of telly. The usual practice is to not carry over the warranty to a new telly once the old one expired. That's just the way it is and BB is following usual practice. However, you might consider not buying a warranty in the first place as they are usually a waste of money-----you paid a few hundred dollars for a warranty on a telly and they have gone down substantially in price the past few years. Thus, you paid good money in the event something goes wrong during the warranty period----which is rare. You got lucky and got a new set. Most of the time, nothing goes wrong any you have wasted alot of money in the event something did go wrong. I have seen people buy a warranty for a $50 microwave. Dumb.

Obviously, you cannot trust Oscar Mayer bacon! Comes the dawn. From the photos you posted, the strips of bacon look just fine to me, but then I grew up raising hogs, selling to market and often butchering one for ourselves. Bacon is just a smoked pork belly, cut into strips for frying, etc. As such, it is rarely that "lean" and is majority fat, not meat. Getting very lean bacon is uncommon. You get what is sliced at the processing plant. Prior to buying a package, take a look at the bacon strips by opening the flap on the reverse of the package or look at them if the package is clear plastic. You can see what the strips look like, eg., lean or not before you buy that package. Given the high cost of bacon nowadays, it is a wonder they still sell alot of it. Part of the problem with late deliveries from Amazon can be traced to their use of the USPS for actually delivering the package. The item may start out with FedEx or UPS but then are delivered, in bulk to the local post office who is supposed to deliver it. They may or may not do so in a timely fashion. Yes, when you track some packages it may say "delivered" but the post office has some incoherent method or reason for saying "delivered" when it is still sitting at the post office. You then get the package in a day or two. Amazon uses the post office because it is cheaper, as do UPS and FedEx. And, of course complaining to Amazon is an exercise in futility.
