Absolute Junk Cabrio Washer

Whirlpool #1714710
The days of a washer lasting 20 years are long gone---as is getting good repair service from most of the big box stores. The repairman is either minimally competent; told by management to keep the repair costs down; told to never, under pain of imprisonment request a replacement washer; or, he just doesn't care to do a good job. Probably best to not buy a washer with a glass top---I find the concept of a glass top on a washer rather odd, if not outright absurd. However, bottom line: I would buy a new washer with none of the bells and whistles---a basic model---and get rid of the glass-topped one. And, of course save your money on buying an extended warranty! Both basic washers and driers are cheap-enough to just junk them if they break and you cannot fix them yourself. I like Lowe's and have purchased many appliances through them, altho never an extended warranty on anything so I cannot judge their repair work.

Apparently, even their customer service is unresponsive with long wait times. Don't know as I have always just called my plumbing & heating company in town whenever I have a problem.

Publishers Elite #1714139
Let me give you some advice: stop using these magazine sub services to order magazines. The years sub rates are now so low for just about all magazines that you can save considerable amounts of money just by picking magazines you like and ordering a sub yourself. You paid $360 for these few magazines---tremendously over-priced---and could have gotten them for much less if you had taken the time to look them up on the internet and subscribed yourself. Be careful of any that says they will automatically renew after your sub runs out, tho. That's the new scam many magazine publishers are now running. Now you know.

Unclear exactly how they are holding your money unless you made the mistake of using a debit card online or giving them your bank account info. When online, always, always use a credit card---for obvious reasons. Using the term "simply not acceptable" does nothing to solve your problem but only indicates you have yet to understand how to shop for goods online and ensure your financial safety. Who knows? You may eventually receive the watch. Or not.

Cub Cadet #1714131
As long as it is in warranty, continue to have them try to fix it each time it has problems. In the meantime, wander over to your local John Deere dealer---not a big box store that sells JD---and buy a JD model S240 with a 48" cut for 2-3 hundred dollars less than you paid for the Club Cadet. Always buy a lawn tractor from a dealer, whether it be JD or any other---never a store that happens to sell them if you want good service. I have had JD tractors of all sizes for decades and have had some problems with some but my dealer always fixes the problem and since I bought them at the dealership, I am first in line when there is a need for service. My opinion of Cub Cadet? Not so hot. My neighbor had one for a year and finally dumped it for a JD as it had all sorts of problems. Not worth the hassle.

This can happen and does, at the factory. Many years ago I, too used to enjoy these Lifesavers Mints and would do so at night while I read for an hour or so before going to sleep. It all ended when I went to my dentist and he found 6 small cavities, mostly in my front teeth. At that time Lifesavers didn't offer the mints in sugar free form. They do now and if you can find them they are a better option for people who enjoy wintergreen flavored mints. The taste is the same in both.

Apparently, your entry of the address was incorrect so don't blame someone else for the mistake in delivery address. This can happen when you choose to order food to be delivered instead of going to an actual physical location to purchase food. Carpet Nightmare

Lowes #1713567
You might not be satisfied with buying carpet and having it installed thru Home Depot any more than through Lowe's. These big box stores sell the carpet to you and then give the installation to some local contractor. Therein lies the problem: many of them are not so competent, but will accept the low fee paid by Lowe's for the installation as they need to have jobs and make money. Over the years, I have found it is best to do your homework when buying carpet and other flooring by talking to friends, neighbors, etc. and then avoiding the big box stores altogether. Go to a smaller, privately-owned carpet/flooring place that has been in business for a number of years and who will more than likely have a few installers it uses all the time who are very good at what they do. The small flooring store will take responsibility for the job, unlike a big box store. I do hope you didn't pay Lowe's in full until the job was done and to your satisfaction. There is always small claims court if you did.

Delivered my mail someone else in building

Calling the USPS and complaining about their mail delivery is like relieving yourself while walking into the wind. It might make you feel better, but the result is not what you expected. The post office in my area delivers my mail to other people up and down the street; drops letters on the ground instead of putting them in the mailbox; forgets to deliver letters and has to turn around from down the road when she discovers she forgot to put some mail into the mailbox; and shows packages as being delivered with a time when they are not and then actually delivers it the next day. All in all, what a great, reliable organization the USPS is.

Boycott Amazon logistics

Amazon #1713133
Be careful what you wish for---we don't, apparently have Amazon Logistics delivering for Amazon in my area, but we do have UPS, FedEx and the USPS. You complain about Amazon Logistics but you don't know how bad the USPS is at delivering packages. UPS and FedEx both will, at times deliver packages to the post office who will then deliver to the recipient at their leisurely pace---or, to someone down the street or it will just disappear but say delivered. When the package is actually delivered by UPS or FedEx, there is never a problem. Only with the post office do we have problems. Amazon is trying to cut delivery costs---I get it---and apparently have a sweetheart deal with the post office for cheap rates. That's good for Amazon, but bad for customers who get bad, inefficient and unreliable delivery by the post office. Best or order online at some website that does not rely on the post office for it's deliveries. Amazon is slowly becoming the "(not to)go to place for online shopping."

Go to their website and see if there is a way to cancel these books. If not, whenever they send you one, don't open it but write in a marking pen "refused, return to sender" and drop it off in a mailbox. Oscar Mayer #1711890
Always best to check the "best by" or "sell by" printed on all food items nowadays, especially anything refrigerated or frozen. This is because stores don't always pull the soon-to-be expired products off the display and continue to sell them past their good date and also because employees tend to load up large carts full of refrigerated/frozen items, park it in the general area of where they are stocked and then leave it defrosting for long periods of time. This checking the dates is only one indicator of the freshness of products and, in your case you should have returned the items to the store for a refund. This is why keeping all receipts for a few days is a good idea. You can also contact Oscar Mayer at their website and they may send you a coupon. I would place the blame on the store you bought the product from rather than Oscar Mayer, tho.
