Aspen Dental #1649048
Be very suspicious of these dental mills and their diagnosis of your need for a "deep cleaning." This is not a commonly-needed procedure although it seems to be rather common with places like Aspen. Perhaps the large cost for it determines how often it is said to be needed. Your best bet for dental care is a good dentist in private practice in your area, not a dental mill.

Defective Washer

Electrolux #1648629
Look up the brand Electrolux and notice who owns it and where their appliances are made. Junk the washer and buy a basic, no bells and whistles brand like Whirlpool so when it breaks and you cannot fix it you just throw it out and buy another. You can still buy a good washer for around $500 or less, top loader, of course---not a front loader unless you want to spend alot of money and have problem after problem like leaks, etc. Keep in mind that most appliances are now "throwaways" and good customer service from any of the manufacturers is not to be found.

FYI: many auto dealerships have a quick lube service now due to the manufacturer's offering two free oil changes when you buy a car. Once you use up the free oil changes, they hope you will bring your vehicles back and pay for the oil change. Their fee to change oil, rotate tires, etc. are very reasonable and the guys doing the work are all very good as opposed to some of the transients working in some of these other quick lube and other places. Just a thought.

Worst appliance ever purchased

Maytag #1641777
I have found that when purchasing appliances, it is usually best to buy the basic, no-frills/no bells and whistles model. Never buy an extended warranty and when it breaks and you cannot fix it yourself, just buy a new one and get on with life. In your case, it appears you bought a high-end washer altho you don't say which model. If it is a front loader, not only are they expensive, but apparently don't work too well anyway from the complaints/reviews I have read. The old top loader, basic model works well and costs far less. Take the hit and dump your new Maytag and buy a cheaper basic model of any brand you like---they are all cheaply made and made for quick obsolescence.

You have a valid concern/complaint about the preparer being on the phone while plugging your tax info into their computer tax prep program. Easy to miss something or make a mistake when they do this nonsense. As for the small refund, who knows what it should be----it all depends on your withholding, tax credits, etc. as well as your income. Sounds like you have a very simple tax return and thus, would be cheaper for you to just buy an H&R Block tax prep software or do it online for free. You might want to look into this for next year as all you need is a computer with internet access for either. Strike Liberty off your list for next year in any case.

You chose the wrong insurance company, madam. When you buy insurance of any kind, it's always best to go thru a company that has local agents whom you can talk to personally and get info or help as needed. Picking an insurance company that only has customer service through a call center is not the way to go. State Farm, AAA and others have local agents. Check them out and compare rates. Sedating a dog with a possible heart murmur should not be a problem. You should get an itemized listing of all medication/sedation drugs administered to the dog. Then, have another vet look over the listing to see what he thinks. You always have the option of seeing an attorney in anticipation of a wrongful death or malpractice claim against Banfield. But, you need more info from them. If they continue to stonewall you, a letter from an attorney may help with their intransigence.

The only surprise I had from reading your complaint was that you liked Walmart's "friendly personnel." Rude, unkempt, inefficient and very strange appearing employees seem to be the rule in both stores. Plumbing issue double charged.

American Home Shield #1629889
You would likely do better financially and aggravation-wise by cancelling with AHS and saving the monthly fee. Put what you are paying them in the bank and save it for when you have to call a real plumber in your area for service. You would, no doubt get much better service from a local plumber. Ask around for a good one or two that people have used. As for the "hissing" sound in the toilet, it sounds like you need to replace either just the flapper or the insides if it is an old toilet that's not been looked at for some time. This is not expensive if you buy the parts yourself and is easy to do yourself or have someone you know is handy do it for you. That would save the service call for a plumber. For the leak in your bathtub, your description is rather vague as to what, where, how it is leaking but you might want to call a real plumber on that. You are paying AHS good money every month for what kind of service?

Your first action should have been to cancel the update, get out of Garmin Express and then run your own anti virus/malware software already handy on your computer. Malwarebytes is a great one for finding malware of the type this sounds like. I think you have been scammed and better clean your machine pronto. Also, the method of payment demanded is rather suspicious in this day and age, is it not? You might want to spend a few dollars and stop payment of the check as soon as possible.
