New fried chicken

Cracker Barrel #1687930
Restaurants change the ingredients in the food they cook for a number of reasons. Either they get rid of something because it is not selling or they do it as a cost-cutting measure----using different and cheaper ingredients. Or, they do it in response to governmental rules and regulations, eg., omitting certain oils used in deep frying and using the new mandated oils in order to be more "healthy." This changes the taste of the food, but you must be grateful because they are looking out for your health. Potato chip manufacturers now follow government mandates for the oils they use and, as a result it is extremely hard to find a brand of chips that taste good. Best thing to do is cook your own fried chicken at home and follow one of the old-time recipes that use lard or similar----any recipe prior to the year 2000.

Misrepresentation

Batteries Plus #1687148
Twelve hours is too long. Try adjusting the clamps and check the rate of charge. Sometimes, if the clamps are not making good contact it won't charge the battery well, if at all and you will be sitting there for hours wondering why it won't charge. If you are using a battery charger with a display showing the charging rate, you should be able to see what's happening.

Green potato complaint

Kettle Brand #1687136
Green potatoes are not uncommon, especially if the chip manufacturer does not mandate the best potatoes---which few do nowadays. Back in the day potato chip manufacturers insisted on strict quality control in the potatoes delivered to them by farmers. That is no longer the case---all you have to do is look at the size and quality of the chips in the bag you buy. Lays brand seems to use very high quality potatoes----again, look in the bags---but other brands like Kettle apparently do not. I have had the Kettle brand and wasn't impressed by the quality of the chips nor the taste, which is determined by the oil(s) they use. As for the solanine in green potatoes: look it up. One study suggests that doses of 2 to 5 mg/kg of body weight can cause toxic symptoms, and doses of 3 to 6 mg/kg of body weight can be fatal. Thus, unless you eat alot of green potatoes, and I mean ALOT, you are safe and won't keel over anytime soon from your potato chip habit.

Actually, the useless employee had a point when he pointed out the effective dates of the "mother's day sale" in the ad. Menard's put a tag on the sale---mother's day---as that special day was coming up. They also put the effective dates of the sale in the ad in anticipation of Mother's Day. Numb mouth

Sensodyne #1685040
Whomever told you to rub Sensodyne on your gum to relieve a toothache is mistaken. Potassium nitrate is the active ingredient in most of these products for sensitive teeth and it works on the tooth, not the gum. If you have a toothache, the best bet is to see a dentist and find out why. For tooth pain, you can find extract of clove or a tooth pain reliever(probably with clove in it) at a drugstore. The clove oil or medication will work temporarily until you can see a dentist. There are many reasons for tooth and mouth pain and just stopping the pain does not cure the primary problem. As for Sensodyne causing your mouth problems the cause is some chemical in the toothpaste----not the potassium nitrate----that they are using now in an attempt to sell a newer version of plain old "sensitive" toothpaste.

Corporations like Walmart have decided they don't need the now extra scrutiny given to them by our masters in the various government agencies that control the sale of these meds. Go elsewhere, of course and don't shop at Walmart or any store-pharmacy that refuses your valid script. The so-called "music" blaring from retail stores speakers has cause me to walk out of stores and/or never go to them again. I suspect the stores that insist on having loud, obnoxious sounds blaring at customers are really attempting to appeal to teenagers, not mature adults who only wish to shop in peace and not be confused and insulted by loud noise making concentrating on shopping difficult, if not impossible. Cheating the customer is top priority

Express Scripts #1683698
It is what it is---their policy, that is. This problem can arise when you use mail order instead of going into a pharmacy and getting your scripts filled locally. The unfortunate fact is that many health plans mandate the use of places like Express Scripts in order to save money. If your health plan uses ES and you get your insurance thru work, then complain to your company---they are the ones who chose the health plan---or, blame yourself for picking a plan that only allows you to use a mail order pharmacy. Sounds like you have plenty of these particular pills on hand, hence the wait of over two months before you noticed the problem. One thing I have learned, especially from filling scripts at local pharmacies like Meijer, is to inspect each one when I get them home for exact count accuracy and condition, etc. At that point, if a problem, the pharmacy will take them back. Over the years, I have had missing pills and an entirely wrong medicine given to me and with a local pharmacy it is easy to correct. Good luck with a mail order place!

In the meantime, of course avoid Clairol products and find another. Remember, tho that hair coloring products are, by their very nature hard on your hair and scalp due to the ingredients used to color hair. The link is: http://www.newschannel10.com/story/36428098/recall-alert-john-deere-recalls-lawn-tractors-due-to-crash-hazard/ However, your problem really started when you bought your machine at Home Depot instead of directly through your local John Deere dealer. Home Depot and others sell John Deere lawn tractors but the local dealer sets them up and does the warranty work. The kicker is that the dealer will take care of those who bought directly through them first---that's just the way it is. In your case, contact John Deere corporate directly---they have a website. The fact that the replacement tranny is no good should lead corporate to authorize another replacement, even tho the original warranty period is over. I now have three Green Machines and all were bought thru a dealer. I get great service from my local dealer but if, indeed the replacement is no good, John Deere should ensure you are taken care of, regardless where you bought it. Most of the "chain" stores like Meijer, Walmart, Menard's, and TSC have reduced the number of employees working at any one time in order to cut labor costs. Most, if not all states and some localities have minimum wage requirements which costs the stores money to pay people for basically unskilled jobs and since labor costs are among the highest expenses in a business the tendency is to have fewer employees working in an attempt to cut costs. The result is long lines at the checkout and fewer employees throughout the store to help customers. The best thing to do is try to shop at stores that have more employees working and this usually means smaller stores like local hardware stores, grocery stores and the like. It is electrically-driven and once inserted into the drain will whirl around, cleaning the clogs---there are usually more than one---all the way down the drain line until he reaches the main drain which is much larger, allowing the clogged material(grease, food, etc.) to flow out to the sewer drain. Call a good plumbing company in town next time or now if you still have a clogged drain.
