You neglected to say what was so unacceptable about the seat she was put it. That aside, asking for a gratuity in order to move a guest is rather rude and demanding. If this is what it takes to make your girlfriend cry, good luck to you, mate. However, all she had to do was go to the dining room manager and complain, both about the seating and also about the guy wanting money.

As someone who grew up in the middle of nowhere, dirt poor with no idea that receiving a gift for Christmas was part of that celebration, it's rather hard to sympathize with your "plight." However, here's a thought: take off the pajamas, put some clothes on and wander on down to any big box store and buy the kid a present instead of ordering online. You still have time to do so---if it's not too much trouble, that is.

Poor customer service

Walmart #1618281
"Poor customer service" at Walmart? Who would have thunk it? You said FedEx was the delivery service. My question would be whether FedEx actually delivered the package to someone else or was it originally shipped via FedEx who delivered it to the local post office for actual delivery to you? Check the tracking carefully to see. Many companies using FedEx now pay for something called FedEx "smart post" which starts out with FedEx but is delivered to your local post office who is responsible for delivering it to you. That's where the problem may arise, as the USPS is rather inept and, at least in my area has the habit of delivering to strangers, etc. or not at all---it just disappears. If you paid via a credit card---the smart way to order online---file a dispute for package not received. The shipper is responsible for finding out what happened, not you as you never received it. Walmart, as shipper can file a claim with FedEx for the mess-up. Remember, never pay for something you don't owe.

That appliance most likely sitting in your abode called a refrigerator can be of help in solving your sustenance habits. It comes in various sizes to fit most any home, apartment or tent if you happen to reside in that sort of structure. It cools food which helps preserve it's quality so when you feel the need to eat you just open it up and prepare something to eat from it. Or, most grocery stores now stock and sell food in boxes, cans and the like so that you can also eat whatever is contained in them. This is not rocket science. Wanting something to eat at midnight is easy to do and not something a wise person would even think about "ordering out." Just a thought. Now you know.

Herman Survivors #1618275
Herman Survivor boots, the original company at least, is no longer in business but the brand name lives on at Walmart, the sole purveyor of this once-great brand. They are sold only at Walmart and are made in China. Those who are old-enough to remember how good the brand once was will be very disappointed in the quality of the product now sold by Walmart. Years ago, KMart would refund your money for any pair of shoes purchased at any KMart no matter when you bought them. This was years ago and most stores will no longer take back shoes that have been worn---for good reason as they cannot re-sell them and Walmart really isn't in the business of providing good customer relations. Throw the boots in the trash and find another brand, hopefully one made in the US. Perhaps Red Wing brand?

Pilot is our preferred place to gas up and rest while traveling the country. However, they do post a "pending" charge to your card of a rather large amount but that charge goes away in a day or two. They post this pending charge in order to ensure you actually are within the limit of the card. It is thus wise to never use a debit card at a Pilot or any retailer that does this or to use a debit card for anything as gas stations are notorious for thieves hacking their card ports at the pumps. Do some research on this topic. With a credit card and a good credit limit, this pending charge does not harm you. Never use a debit card is the bottom line. If you use a debit card and it is "hacked" you will lose your money now. Now you know.

Amazon Logistics #1617454
Amazon has some real problems with delivering packages. In my area, they may ship via FedEx, for example but allow FedEx to deliver the package(s) to the local post office which then is charged to actually deliver it to you. Therein lies the problem: the USPS is unreliable and often inept to the extreme. They deliver to strangers down the road or say they have delivered but did not. Amazon's promise of "2 day delivery" is fast becoming a joke as a result. One thing all Prime customers can do is to give the vendor a poor rating whenever your package does not arrive on time or at all and tell them the reason for the low rating. Amazon itself could care less, but the outside vendors certainly live by the ratings people give them.

The USPS is unreliable and, often quite inept. You may, or may not get your package delivered via USPS in two days, or a stranger up the road may get it or your neighbor will deliver it to you in a day or so as the postal carrier will have delivered it to the wrong address. Constant Buffering Headache

Roku #1614591
Constant buffering usually indicates a slow internet connection. You don't say which internet service you have, but for the most reliable streaming cable internet, eg., Spectrum is the best bet. DSL or satellite or other non-cable services will cause streaming headaches, especially when tied to a system like Roku. I dumped cable TV a few years ago and now stream via a couple of Roku units plus stream direct to the telly or simply download the shows and then view via a flash drive on the telly. The Roku units can be finicky but do work well with a good internet connection. They don't do well with a slow one. You might want to find out what download speed you are getting with your internet connection. Simply go to "speedtest.net" on your computer and do a speed test to see what you are getting. Anything less than 25mps download is no good and you will get constant buffering. From 25-50 mps is still problematical. In my case, with Spectrum, I get a usual 94 mps or better. You probably bought the Roku Ultra for about 50 dollars. I picked one up as a spare but still use older models with rarely a problem.
