I initiated contact via telephone December 21,2021 to terminate an annuity through them I had with John Hancock. It is now January 27,2022 and I am still going back and forth with them to terminate the annuity.
I have had them claim three times the form was incorrectly filled out. They were the ones that filled it out. All I had to do was sign. Everything g must be done via mail or email.
I asked for status updates multiple times via email with no response. I have had to make numerous calls to them to find out status. You can never speak to the same person twice. I tried calling their client relations line to discuss my situation, only to be on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up.
I strongly recommend to all my friends and family to stay away from UBS.
They charge high fees and choose to delay transactions using excuse after excuse. If you are wanting to access your funds with UBS, I recommend you start sooner than later!
Preferred solution: Execute request immediately and transfer funds to my personal bank checking account immediately.
