Comcast - Overseas call center ugh

Called the XFINITY customer service number (800 XFINITY) and got connected to a service center in Jamaica. Now I get these people are just working a job, and Xfinity is willing to outsource because they are cheap and greedy. Not faulting the people working there. Clearly these people are trained to say the same tired phrases over and over again, and try and explain away a $35 dollar increase on tax increases and also frustrate you into not waiting on the phone any longer. It's sad that a company with so much money tries to squeeze it's existing customers with BS increases. They are banking on you not wanting to change services, as that's a pain in the butt. Xfinity better wake up, cord cutters are going to cut them out if they keep this garbage up.

User's recommendation: Tough it out, they will eventually get you back to your old rate but you have to hang in there.
