JCPenney - Fridge not freezing

we been calling the customer service line that was given to us with the warranty for almost 3 months, we finally got a hold of someone just for them to tell us our warranty expired 11/2/21 and there was no way to help, how can you not help? when the company is responsible to have replacing a non working number to call for our warranty
