Amazon - Rental

I called Amazon to informed them that I have been receiving an email that I owed funds for a rental book that I had returned on 11/05/2021. Prior to returning the book I called the customer service team to get information on the return process from a representative.

I was unable to retrieve the preprinted label because my account has been locked for some time now and I have been trying to resolve that issue as well. Nevertheless, I was told by the employee to mail the book back to an address that she provided me for returns. I used FedEx on 11/01/2021 with a return mailing address received from the customer service representative at

Attn: Return Department

Amazon.com-Customer Service

1620 Worldwide Blvd

Hebron, KY 41048

The book should have been received by 11/05/21. The representative today informed me that I cannot resolved this issue because me account is locked due to a reported fraudulent activity.

which I am looking to rectify as well. She stated that the only way to fix the account is to have my credit card company resend the charge back to Amazon for $200.00. I am trying to make a good faith effort to resolve the block account but my credit card company cannot resubmit the charge and the representative stated that she could not accept new payment information or access the account at any point. I am looking for someone to resolve the returned book rental and how to get my account activated again.

The representative today was very rude and get louder when I was expressing how angry I felt because the first representative should have informed me that the book rental return would be an issue due to the limitation of not having access to the account. I did not like being disrespected by the representative who felt it was her duty to raise her voice to a customer which further escalate the issue and her tone made it seem like I was an issue for her.

I hope she gets off the phone and she refused to contact a supervisor or manager for a resolution on this matter. I still need someone to resolve both of these issues for me.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

User's recommendation: Amazon representatives are very rude to customers and cannot problem solve issues for their lack of not having an efficient system
