Menards - Upset

Went to my local Menards for Christmas gifts. Couldnt find.

Asked a YOUNG clerk and he sent me in wrong direction of all 3 items. Found someone else..a foreign woman who was standing around trying to look busy. She tells me to go upstairs in storage (for out of season fans). Mind u I cant climb all those stairs plus customers arent supposed to go up there, not to mention not a sole was up there to help.

Finally a young man came and took me on an elevator snd we found one of the fans and the other ( of course in a damaged box) on floor. Most if not all the foreign (NO I am not racist) women workers were just roaming around store trying to look busy. I know its hard right now trying to find good help but this was not a good experience. First of all that first lad sending me all wrong places and second wanting me to go up in a no customers area plus no one was even there.

Im in my 70s and did not appreciate it. Plus my husband is a contractor and u are his second home.

Things wrong about this post. 1st off, referring to ppl as foreign not once, but to separate times, does seem very racist.

2nd the upstairs area, is 100% for customers to shop in, everything is supposed to be priced and available.

3rd you complained you couldn't climb all the stairs and they had an elevator. Now for the service, it dies seem to leave quite a bit of room for improvement as team members are supposed to walk you to products whenever available.
