STG Auto Group deceitful from top to bottom

My wife and I came to STG Auto group based on a 2017 truck with low mileage offer for sale. When we arrived at the Garden Grove location we found the truck to be filthy dirty inside with sweat stains in the seats, cigarette burns in the headliner and a huge section of paint missing inside the bed of the truck. My wife had seen a 2018 used truck in the same add so when the salesman Kevin finally showed up for our appointment we found and test drove that truck instead. During the “deal “we told Kevin and Bill we wanted our registration in Arizona. Bill said that would be no problem but he “just needed our California address to start the financing paperwork”. Bill returned several time throughout the process and at one point reconfirmed that we would receive the Arizona plates for the truck. During the review of our contract we found an additional $495.00 added to the internet pricing. When I confronted Bill about the pricing he said their advertising says they can change the price of the sale based on accessories. Although this was just another indication how underhanded this dealer is, my wife and I wanted the truck and agreed to the additional monies. Fast forward a month later California plates and registration arrived for this truck. My wife called the salesman Kevin who did not return her call. When she finally got him on the phone he said he knew nothing about it and could not help. My wife then contacted Bill for resolution but she did not receive a call back. I contacted Bill to follow up on my wife’s questions and he said he had no recollection of her or the issue. I reminded Bill of his commitment to register the vehicle and he denied the conversation ever happened, and then said “it’s impossible to register a vehicle bought in one state in another”. If Bill had been truthful when we started the transaction, we would have gone back to Arizona and waited for the right truck there. Bill said he would work on a resolution but he never called back. I placed several calls to Bills supervisor Mondo and explained the false and misleading statement of his staff . Mondo said he would follow up and call back but he never did return any call. I made several more calls to STG and spoke to the General Manager Mike at the Ontario location. Once again I explained the facts and added all the issues that have been building up, the fact that they place a dirty damaged vehicle for sale with no mention of the condition, the bait and switch markup of the internet advertised price, the blatant lying on the registration, and the lack of follow up by his staff . Mike said he would look into the situation and call me back. Like everyone else in this unethical company Mike never called back. I called him 5 times in the course of two weeks and he was not available any of the times nor did he return any of my multiple voicemails. It’s a shame that unscrupulous dealers like this will do and say anything to make the sale. My mistake was not researching registration for cars before talking to this bunch of thieves. The $495 over payment is definitely my mistake to own since I “wanted” the truck and had spent so much time in the dealership. I still will point out the deceitful advertising that apparently says (in small print somewhere) that they can change the price. (They charged me for tinted windows although they did not tint them?) At each level in this organization I found apathy and a lack of ethics. My surprise was to find this extends all the way to the top of this organization. I would urge anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle steer clear of STG Auto Group.
