Lowes - Bad experience at Lowe's

My husband and I went into the store on Valencia in Tucson, AZ. We waited around for a while until we asked an employee who was walking through the department if someone could help us. We ended up purchasing a stackable washer and dryer from a salesperson named Samuel. It was supposed to be delivered a few days later. The delivery people were an hour late. The delivery guy was nice and asked me to show him where we were going to install the washer/dryer. I showed him, and he asked, "oh, you wanted a stackable? We didn't bring a stackable, we brought a side by side." He told me to call the store to figure out what was going on. I called the store several times with no answer. Finally, someone answered. But, he couldn't help me. He said he'd have the manager call me back. After a few hours, the manager called me back and said I would need to talk to the salesman. I told him I already asked for the salesperson who sold it to us, but, he wasn't in today. The manager had me hold on and talk to another salesperson. The salesperson (Louis) said we needed to pay an additional $50 or so for the kit, which was never mentioned to us by the salesperson. He put me on hold and said he would call the delivery company and see when they could deliver the correct items. After being on hold for a while, he told me he wasn't sure when they could deliver and also said we needed to pay for the kit over the phone before they could deliver. At that point, my husband asked to talk to them. My husband said they should be responsible for the kit because we were never told we needed a kit and for all the inconvenience. The salesperson said they wouldn't pay for the kit. My husband told him to cancel the deal. It was over $1900 which I thought was a little overpriced. Anyway, the salesperson supposedly transferred my husband to customer service to cancel. Customer service never answered. My husband went into the store to complain. They said he had to cancel it with customer service. They said there was no one available until the next day. He called today, and they said they would cancel the order. They never offered any apologies. The only person who apologized was the delivery driver. We've given them a lot of business over the years, but, after this ordeal, we will never shop there again.
