Garys Precision Diesel - Don’t go near this place

Update by user Feb 18, 2020

Zero, that’s the amount I received under the warranty I have on equipment he installed. Zero, is the response I got from him, he basically turns his back turns off his phone and does not reply.

Someone like this does not belong in business. Also I have an irate voicemail message spewing profanity and political views, clearly psychotic, when all I wanted was to get a repair for my AC in my truck.

This is the state of the world today we have psychotic people like this provoking their ridiculous views. I recommend a community stay away from this guy

So I ran a job at the Twin Falls, called Garys Precision Diesel Twin Falls Idaho, I was a little bit hesitant given they werent very good at picking up the phone or returning calls, now I know why. These retards dont know how to run a business. Several months after my ac was replaced the AC compressor craps out and I am due a refund under warranty, Gary was very offended when I got him on the phone over this, thought I was trying to scam him. Since then I agreed to ship the product back to him for inspection, and hes never picked up the phone or returned any of my phone calls, so now we have to file a Better Business Bureau complaint, start a legal file with the county court because this jack *** doesnt know how to pick up the phone or return phone calls to customers, which is business 101. I recommend the business for dummies series, by the end of page 1 they instruct you to call your customers back. If zero stars was an option, I would leave zero stars. This place is not recommended for any automotive repair, and its certainly not precision of any kind. Update, three weeks after I mailed the parts in, never got a callback until one week after I filed a better business complaint, bingo the phone rings and Gary left the nastiest message as if I did something to cause all of this. What a piece of work Update, no calls back no refund he just simply disregarded me, I suggest the public disregard him

New Smyrna Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram - Standard practice to overcharge and repair parts that don’t need repair.

Explore video interviews
New Symrna chrysler Update Incredibly disgusting. So in June 22, 18 I rolled in at 8 AM to new Symrna Chrysler for what I thought was warranty work on an exhaust system that was replaced due to the negligence of another dealer who destroyed my vehicle in a DPF regeneration overheat, everything from the intercooler back to the DPF was fully replaced, total cost was $17,000. One year later I have an exhaust leak should be covered right? So we go to new Smyrna Chrysler to have them look at it. By Late afternoon close to 4 o’clock I get a call saying it’s costing me almost $900 and the explanation was the part was not warranted, it was a clamp or gasket or something. Then they want to charge me for and analyze fee which I don’t do anymore. Disgusted I rolled up the street to the muffler man, he looked at it and said that it appeared the clamp worked itself loose so, I came back the next morning June 23, 8 AM checked in with them got an Uber ride home, no sooner did I get home I got a call and said the truck was done. Apparently the original repair mechanic put the clamp on incorrectly and the vibration up against my transmission bell housing work the clamp loose causing the exhaust leak and subsequent codes that kept coming up as a result. I really need to warn the public that this is not the first time this is happened with a Chrysler dealer where they can’t simply honestly say your clamp is loose lets tighten it up, instead they want to replace an entire part that does not need replacing so as to get another thousand dollars out of me. This is a common practice with Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram. And I think these people need to be called out for it, as I learned the service advisors are on commission so they have all the incentive in the world to overcharge me with parts I don’t need so as to make that Commission $900 rather than being honest and saying you just got a loose clamp let’s tighten it up. So I’d like to recommend the muffler man repair shop In New Symrna and thank them for being honest mechanics. Also anyone who is a victim of this abuse at the hands of New Symrna chrysler should contact the better business bureau online and the state attorney general at (954) 712-****. Hope this helps
