Telkom is not able to help - they are looking for flimsy excuses to blame me. All my background App refreshers are off. This was the excise Telkom wanted to give for burning 3Gigs in about 20 minutes.

I noticed that my data was burning quicker than usual and his was not the first time this happened with Telkom. All the time the excise is that is WAS my background App refreshers. When Telkom gave this excuse the first time, a few years ago, I closed them all. Yet the problem has persisted and Telkom continues to offer same excuse. This weekend about 2gigs disappeared quickly. I was concerned but I let it slide. This morning I bought 3gigs and it was gone within minutes. Telkom still offers the same lousy excuse even though the background activations are off. Importantly, I'm usually on wifi when am at home yet the minute I drive to the shop, a huge chunk will disappear.

User's recommendation: Let report Telkom to Icasa and the Consumer Commission.
